Seriously great little brewery making seriously great brews. A bit off the freeway but worth a detour. It's rare to find a brewery where you'll like every single beer offered but for me this was such a place. I'd skip the food (it's just ho hum and too small of portions for the price) and focus on the beer instead. They don't give you all the beers they have on tap with the sampler so be sure to get samples of everything else, too, so you can taste them all. Our most favorites were found that way.
Service was nice, but not very attentive - server was busy chatting up the local regulars and I was mildly chuffed that I had to get his attention every single time I needed something, from first order to extra paid samples to the bill. He barely answered my questions about the beer, he was so eager to get back to his locals. But I found a large catalog on their beer sitting on the counter and it explained everything just fine, so all was well.
The wrap sandwiches were pretty good. Â You get your choice of cole slaw, potato salad, or greek salad. Â I had potato salad and it was red potato salad, very good. Â I had the chicken-cheese-pepperoncini wrap, it was good! Â Tried one of the brews, not bad, almost like an ale. Â They have the brews rated on the board by alcoholic content and some other rating... something about how sour it is (or maybe whether it's more an ale then a beer). Â It was crowded on a Friday night, my friend and I sat at the bar. Â It took them forever to bring our check. Â Actually, they never brought it, I had to ask for it. Â And...... when I asked for my check, all they did was "tell" me that the total was $[whatever]. Â So, I said, "Don't I get an itemized bill?" Â They brought out the menu and said, "well, you had X and Y and Z so that's why it added up to $[whatever]." Â I again asked for an itemized bill and they brought me one but acted like it was SUCH AN INCONVENIENCE. Â So, I'm just supposed to BELIEVE what they tell me is my cost? Â I would have given four stars for the food, but kicking it back to three due to their reluctance to bring you an itemized bill.
Review Source:One of the best (if not the best!) brewery in the Tri-cities. Good selection of the beers made there as well as a couple sampler options. Â I was a big fan of most of the beers I got in the sampler and was amazed at how many more were on the menu that they weren't brewing at that time. Â It's nice that there will always be a good selection and new things to try. Â I also highly suggest getting a pizza next door from ethos, they will bring it over! Â The place is small and people tend to spend time lounging so get there early for a table otherwise it might just be standing room.
Review Source:A nice casual atmosphere for beer lovers. Â On a Thursday after work it was packed with locals enjoying various versions of beer. If you are in the area it is a worthwhile stop. Â They did have food available that looked good but I didn't try. There is also a bakery next door that makes great pizzas that I did try and you can bring over and enjoy with some great beers.
Review Source:Best beer in the TC's, period. As their staff works as well as serves there, you can forgive a few misses on the service, but they are always friendly and love doing what they do. I usually enjoy a pizza from Ethos next door, doesn't get any better than that around here for pizza and a brew. Atomic just doesn't cut it anymore.
Review Source:Excellent, flavorful beers. This place is by far the best brewery in the Tri-Cities area ! Casual atmosphere with very friendly staff ! Biere de Garde is their star beer, and everything is right about this beer !! Reminded me of the microbrews of Northern France and Belgium ! Give it a try if you're in the area, believe me you won't regret it !!
Review Source:Excellent, complex beers. Casual, funky atmosphere. Good, friendly service. I know this will make me sound like the Portland snob I am, but this place could make it in Portland. Get the taster plate and try 'em all. If you're hungry, get a pizza from the artisan bakery next door and bring it in to the brewpub. Strange location, seems in the middle of nowhere as you're driving to it, but it's a must-visit if you like good beer and are anywhere in the Tri-Cities area.
Review Source:I Love this place, it's definitely my favorite micro-brewery in the Tri-Cities! They always have great beers on tap and the people working there are extremely friendly and helpful. Also, with their new expansion they have more seating and the place feels brighter.
I can honestly say I have never had a bad beer at this place. Obviously there are some I enjoy and order more than others, but their overall selection of taps is excellent. It seems everytime I go to White Bluffs they have a new beer on tap to go along with the good ole' stand-bys.
The other awesome thing about the location of this micro-brewery is the proximity to Ethos Bakery, which just happens to be next door. You can step over to the bakery and order a pizza. Then just head back to White Bluffs and drink a beer while it cooks. Once your pizza is done the workers at the bakery will run it over to you.
Overall, this place is very impressive with quality brews and service.
Ok, this is my favorite local brewery. Â Wanted to post an update after their recent 1-year anniversary and recent expansion. Â
If you Yelp-Check-In here, you can get 50 cents off of a pint. Â I recently utilized this deal and had a Saison---oh, it was very tasty. Â I then filled my growler up with their famous Oatmeal Stout. Â
With a white and green tasting room, the bright and warm tasting area has quickly become a cool spot to hang out at. Â It was a little tight, but the expansion has definitely supplied more elbow room. Â It's been neat to watch this place get bigger and better. Â I drive by this place on my home from work, and it's always good to see all the filled-up parking spots. Â
Here's to another great year for Richland's new brewing jewel.
This place is pretty sweet. It's kind of far from civilization with respect to the tri-cities other drinking locations. The beers are delicous and there are way more than I expected. The only things that would make it better are making the place larger with more tables/seating and food would obvi be good but its still 4 stars without. More seating is necessary and on its way tho.
Review Source:Come for the beer, stay for the craic. Here's the truth ladies, the seating is anything but comfortable (rot iron patio furniture & bar stools) BUT the beer is delicious, the employees are friendly, and they let you bring in your own food. (they have peanuts, pretzels, & pub mix available.) Â Tasty, hand-crafted Brews @ reasonable prices. I'll be back.
Review Source:Great beers with new ones to try every time I stop by. IPAs are terrific and the farm house ale is pretty good too (especially for the folks who are afraid of micro brews). Location is a bit off the beaten track, but a friendly staff more than makes up for it.
The one thing missing.... Food. Only reason I did not give them 5 stars was that I would like a bit more than snacks when I hang out after work.
I'm not normally a beer drinker, but I've been to this place twice and really enjoyed it both times. Â The only thing on the menu right now is beer, peanuts, and snack mix. Â We tried a sampler of their different beers...there was one I really enjoyed and my beer-drinking friend really liked a couple of their beers. The owners are really nice and love talking to you about their product.
