White Horse Black Mountain

I understand Live Venues are Hit and Miss.. I would share that the band Ol' Hoopty <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Folhoopty.com%2Fhome.cfm&s=10a5b5ca924451bed0a6db4ff919d11687be3b38e1945b23b2679880dccb28e0" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://olhoopty.com/home…</a> is at this venue 1/22/2011 and they are an amazing band that really captures Roots and Southern Rock to a tea. I would say the musicians and their songs are worth a $20 door. Cool like the Drive-By Truckers IMHO

I must admit...I may be biased because I've known the co-owner Kim for years...but I am really enthralled with this place.   Coming in for the first time to the incredibly charming town of Black Mountain, NC, I wasn't expecting such an amazing venue.  The space and sound quality is incredible!  And there's a wonderful vibe in there.  People seemed so happy to be listening to the great live music...dancing the night away as they sipped their beers and wines.  Outside, there's an AMAZING little food truck that makes gourmet dinners that change every night for incredibly affordable prices.   I highly recommend you see some music here...it's worth it...and it's something Black Mountain will cherish for years to come.
