Someone recommended this place for a good bagel and coffee.  On my last day of my honeymoon in NH, we stopped here for, yes, a bagel and coffee to eat in the car while we drove.  These bagels were unbelievably fresh and delicious, and they had my FAVORITE coffee - Green Mountain --- and like 8 flavors to choose from!

Nice little bagel / sandwich shop. A couple tables, nothing fancy. Good bagels and good sandwiches.

I've had good sandwiches and bagels here for years.  Good staff, good coffee(Green Mtn).  If I'm going across the Kanc it's my stop for a snack or a meal.

Open at 6:30am =- perfect for a peak-bagger in search of an early&easy AM sandwich on-the-fly!  Well....almost flying (service is a little slow, but worth it for the meal).

It's autumn which means the pumpkin latte has returned (tastes like a Jack'o'lantern inna cup); other Green Mountain coffees available, but it's PIY (pump-it yourself out of thermoses).

Some very very tasty bagels available, and some fool-proof bagel melts (I suggest the Spinach+Tomato Melt 6$); spinach, tomato, vinaigrette, and provolone.  But if you're fortunate enough to be in on a morning that they have baked their "large cinnamon buns".....get one.  Gooey, soft, and sweet - they really hit the spot after you've achieved your summit!

This places gets 3-stars because it is an alternative to the extremely evil Dunkin Donuts. That being said, the bagels here are extremely average. The bagel places in North Conway (i.e. Big Dave's) are far better.

One of the better eateries in this area for breakfast. It's quick and semi-convenient (although a bit slow). They had a good selection of bagels and we got a couple breakfast sandwiches for around $10. The only thing that skeezed me was that the 4 young ladies behind the counter seriously looked unshowered. It really just caught my eye. BUT the sandwiches were, in fact, delicious so I guess that part doesn't matter much.
Oh yah, and you can eat in or out.

We always stop at the White Mountain Bagel Company after driving through the Kancamagus for a snack before hopping back on the byway.  The bagel and cream cheese options are great for an independent New England bagel place (people have to remember that this ISN'T New York and this ISN'T a chain - the bagels aren't always going to be exactly the same every single time).  I appreciate their asiago bagels topped with jalapeno cream cheese. It's a great balance of flavors.  One of the most consistent things about this place is the awful service. It's run by a bunch of grumpy teen girls who don't even try to hide their apathy and make it a point to demonstrate how much they don't want to be working. Don't take this place or yourself seriously.  If you remember that you're just getting a $2 bagel and are in some of the most breath-taking scenery in New England than you realize it's kind of amusing.

My family stopped in for a bite to eat after our Alpine Adventure tour.  It is just a few spots down on the left.

We waited in line and when it was our turn , the cashier told us they only had a one plain bagel left or they could warm up a frozen one. The last plain bagel was out of the basket and crushed against the back wall. It was obvious to anyone and everyone in line. Why in the world would they try to sell us that? We should have turned around and left.

I went with a BLT on the the frozen, albeit toasted, bagel. It was ok and was not terribly expensive.

I would skip this place and head over to the Bob and Bills Roast Beef place next door.

Bagels tasted like they came straight out of the frozen bagel aisle at my supermarket.  If you like NYC style bagels, this is not the place to be.  The bagel crumb was soggy, and densely bread-y.  The crust wasn't crisp, even after toasting!

Unfortunately, I have to second the Claudine D's comment about the staff...

This is the only true bagel shop in Lincoln, so there are not really any options to go elsewhere, if so I would go elsewhere. The food is decent, I like their bagels and their cream cheese options, but the service is always bad. When I go there I feel like I have entered some sort of candid camera show because the staff are always so grumpy and rude I think this can't be for real.

The staff is mostly young women/teenage girls who apparently do not want to be working there. I have seen them fighting with each other, only to stop, come to the counter and stare at me waiting for me to give them my order, not hello, what can i get you, nothing! just staring at me.

If this place hired decent help it could be a good shop.

We had an hour to kill before our Alpine Adventure 3 doors down and hadn't had lunch yet. My husband and I are big fans of Boar's Head deli and when we saw they made sandwiches from their meats we had to stop in. He ordered the BLT w/ roasted tomato and garlic mayo and I had a pepper turkey wrap. The sandwiches hit the spot and a much better choice than the McDonald's across the street. The prices were decent for the touristy area. My wrap about $6.50 and the hubby's was $5.75 and they both were a decent size. We went on our safari with happy bellies.
