9/26/12 Â Would like to thank Robert the owner, for his kind and attentive service. Â 3 for lunch, after golf. Â It was for a birthday as well. Â Flowers from Angels Crossing in Old Town, were waiting as ordered, the wine and food excellent.
As a side note, the gentleman from BC that rated a 2 star. Â You never ate here, never met anyone. Â You came at a busy time, Â to the best of my knowledge they do not take reservations. Â Yes, one does wait, but it is worth it. Â Try again, don't miss out. Â The wine shop is well appointed and staff knowledgeable. Â L. Robinson LaQuinta, CA
Was in Palm Springs for a conference at an overpriced resort. Sought outside dining and came to The Wine Bar for dinner. It was walking distance from the resort and we were pleasantly surprised. The pesto bruschetta was fresh, warm, and absolutely delicious. As was the Mediterranean flatbread and the tomato basil soup. The $15 bottle of wine could not be beat! Enjoy!
Review Source:Walked in and it was packed so asked what appeared to be a hostess how to get a table. Â She told us to wait until 1 was available. Â Asked if we should give her our name-nope just wait for a table to come available and hope you see it before someone else. Â We waited for a table-at a nearby restaurant that took our name for a wait list.
So it may or may not have good food and wine but the last time I waited for a table like that was in a school cafeteria and that was a long time ago.

This is the new Wine Bar in Old Town and it is great to see the Wine Bar is alive and well. I love the concept of no corkage for bringing a bottle out of the retail section into the bar area. Great selections of wine, and I can't believe how many wines are served by the glass. I love all of the wine they sell that is very hard to find at any price in California. I think the owner has done a great job of obtaining the best wines at every price point. Very friendly, with very good looking servers! I love all of the Ipads used for taking orders. The Wine Bar has live music on the weekends (Saturday night when I was there a very good duo that didn't blow the conversation out of the water.) It's good to see a couple of the staff from the old Wine Bar (Chef Oz and his secret sauce and Bridget the bomb.) The Wine Bar is a welcome business in Old Town!
