Good food, a great beer selection. I love the Hog wings, but I wish the sauces were spicier. I've only been there once & the menu says you can, "take any sauce to purgatory," so I'll have to try that next time. Great place if you eat gluten free as my wife and a buddy of mine do.

A lot better than buffalo wild wings. My fav wings are the raspberry and the chili garlic.

I love these wings, but 3 stars for the crappy service. They need to get their act together.

And for the record, this place's taste trumps BWW

The wings here are really delicious. The prices seem a bit much for wings though, that's why I'm only giving 4 stars. It's a great place to get a beer and watch the game as well!

Bad service stale beer and loud and tight quarters hot wings are ok go to city club for great wings

I like the idea of healthier baked wings but I Made the mistake of getting the boneless wings, they came out as dry as jerky, the sauce was just on the outside, no penetration so not much flavor, not too impressive,

I will have to give them another try sometime, with bone-ins and update my review accordingly/.

i enjoyed this place :) There wings are really good! When we went there it was pretty dead but it was a Tuesday afternoon. I wouldn't mind coming back and watching football or something. Oh and the wing chips are really good! Get the mix!

I might be biased since I love hot wings a little more than your average person.
So to compare this place to other wing joints out here- It's probably the best tasting. The only draw-back is the prices are a little inflated, but that's typical of wing joints west of the Mississippi. The wings are baked, not fried, which is something I was skeptical of at first, but they pull it off. The wings are also mostly big and meaty so that's a plus, since an order of 20 leaves me stuffed to the gills. I always get take out-orders during football season so that's all I have to go from.

BAKED wings... its nice! They arent all greasy, but also arent soggy. Great place to have a beer and some wings and just hang out. It has been a bit smokey in there a few times we've gone in, I guess because of the baked wings?

I've tried two of the new microbrews- YUM!

Good atmosphere, good food, great service, AND it's open after 6 pm on a Sunday night...unlike everywhere else in Ogden.

We went here because I liked the sound of the "baked wings"   The service was atrocious.....   We were told to sit anywhere when we walked in and then were promptly ignored by the snooty waitress.   When she did come over, she took our drink orders, brought our waters and beer back and then disappeared for a bit.....  she came back and took our food orders and we literally did not see her again until the check was delivered..........

We waited, and waited and waited for our food to be delivered.   It appeared as if they were grossly understaffed this evening because everyone was waiting...   Our food came and I advised the gentleman that delivered the food that my water had been empty for about 15 minutes and that I wanted to order another beer 10 minutes ago but had no intentions of doing that now.......  on to the food........

our food was cold... COLD.  we had waited all that time, and I was thinking that it was because we were waiting to have it prepared fresh..... well there goes that idea...   Cold wings - Gross, Cold Chicken Nachos - Gross....   they brought out two knives and no forks...  just an all around fail of a place... I can say this, I will not be returning.... man I cant wait for Buffalo Wild Wings to open here.....

Best wings in Ogden! Get the Raspberry Chipotle sauce if you know what's good for you...

I like their wings, but I do agree that I think this place is a bit overpriced. I don't go here unless I have a coupon or there is a special. I like that the wings are baked, and the sauces are very good. I tried the parmesan and curry sauce on their boneless wings, and it was very, very good and very different from the BBQ-based sauces usually drenched on the wings. We went on a Sunday afternoon to watch the football games, and the place is set up very well for that sort of thing.

Okay...  I am on a search for the best wing in the nation  & I must say that Wing Nuts falls well short of a place that I will visit again (especially with the City Club a few blocks away & has one of the best wings I have ever had).

The wings are not fried, which I like the idea of a healthier wing... but the wing are horrible & overpriced.  The sauces are great and help the taste...  But again, they fall well short of a decent chicken wing.

We tried a few wraps and a sampler platter which gives you a little of everything & all I can say is Yuck!

I do like the establishment.  Good patio, comfortable, well decorated, and decent service (even thought it takes forever to get your food)...  But I will not be returning.

    Sorry Guys!

Great wings and good selection of beers. However like previously stated it is smoky inside the restaurant. If it were not for the smoke I'd give them 4 stars.

Wings are great but pricy.  They have about a bizzilion types of sauces.  The atmosphere is really why folks come here.  Trendy and  social.

Good wings with an excellent selection of sauces. Their wings are meaty, baked, and not breaded. There's also a good number of sauces to choose from with my favorites being the Raspberry Chipotle (kicked up a notch) and the Traditional. Their blue-cheese dressing, which is a mild blue-cheese, works well with the wings.

They also offer buffalo chips, which are their version of fries. They come in an original or spicy variety. I find the original to be a bit bland, but the spicy have a bit more to offer and works well with the blue-cheese as well.

They beer selection has declined. They used to offer the Bohemian line and have now substituted it for their own line. This was disappointing, especially since the Wing Nutz Pilsner is a mediocre beer.

As others have pointed out, it's not very well ventilated and there can be smokey wing haze. So, if the weather is nice, I'd recommend getting an outside table.

They have a few non-wing offerings, but nothing I would recommend. If you're not a wings and beer kind of person, then this isn't the place for you.

I think the food here was decent.  Actually the "Hog Wings" were surprisingly good.  Other than that, I was unimpressed.

I thought that the prices were kind of high for what it was - essentially just a place that sells wings and beer. Particularly given that the servers weren't particularly eager to "serve" me beer and or food.  I was sitting at the bar, its not like I was easy to not notice.

I think the worst part about this place though was that the whole indoor area was filled with some kind of wing baking haze.  Seriously.  They really need to ventilate their kitchen.

That said, the food was good so I'm giving them two stars on that fact alone.

I'll admit, I only go to Wing Nutz for the karaoke on Thursday nights. I think its got a good vibe and I have had good times there. I The wings are OK and they do have a wide selection of flavors. I'm just not that much of a wings gal. There are a few drawbacks. The place is tiny and they only serve beer. Not very conducive to "I can only sing when I am shit-faced."  It's got big-screen TVs, so it's the perfect place to watch a sports game, if you're into that sort of thing.

As far as selection and flavors of wings, this place is the "spot" in Ogden. We've been on several ocassions and have tried several of their sauces and have been happy with our order each and every time. The fact that the wings are baked instead of fried also eases my mind a little bit about them not being quite so bad for you. (I know, worrying about the health of chicken wings is a lost cause.)  The honey jalepeno sauce is a personal favorite and the "hot" setting is just enough to warm you up and still leave taste buds intact.

I am also a big fan of their Quesadillas.  Cheese, meat, and tortilla should be a simple combination but this place has put some twists in to it with flavored wraps and sauces that leave you satisfied.  The salads on the menu are very flavorful with all kinds of little extras like cranberries, walnuts, and veggies that should be legally required in all salads.  If you're going to order something as boring as a salad, it might as well have some flair to it.

One thing I really like about this place is the size of their drink glasses. When you order an iced tea or soda, there's actually a good amount in the glass. They are oversized which keeps the thirst away between wait staff visits and keeps you quenched.

The only deduction I would give is for a poor ventilation system that was part of the building's design.  The air movement in the restaurant isn't adequate and it can get a bit "smoggy" in the winter time when the doors cannot be propped open. Opening the doors and the nice, ambient patio provides relief in the warmer months and should NOT be a detractor from a visit to this place.

They had some tasty selections of beers here. I tried a couple of different ones, and enjoyed them both, the wheat and pumpkin brews.
I ordered the 10 piece wings, with their traditional sauce, and a special chili lime sauce.  I asked for them extra spicy, or "took them to purgatory" hoping to enjoy a nice hot meal.  I also ordered their buffalo chips with blue cheese crumbles.  I ate the chips first, and they were amazing.  They were thicker cut than the kettle chips I was expecting, but were a perfect mix of crisp and chewey.  I tried the sauce on the wings first, and enjoyed both.  I dug into the traditional first.  It had a great chili flavor without that overwhelming vinegar flavor that too many wing places have.  Even though I ordered them extra hot, they were not quite a hot as I like.  The chili lime sauce was as it sounded. They got a good mix of both in there for a great flavor.  Once again, not as hot as I would have liked.  There where a large number of sauces to suit just about any palate, so I look forward to coming back to try others.  The wings were good quality, though a couple seemed slightly overlooked.
I stuck around to watch the football game.  The staff was friendly and helpful.

If you are near the Ogden Junction the best bet for most occasions would be Wing Nutz. Sonora Grill is more formal/date while I'd say Wing Nutz is the casual/pre movie spot. Some nights they have karaoke too if that is your thing. There are numerous nice flat screen TV's all around the place. They do have the NFL Ticket so you can stop in for Sunday football. I've had mostly excellent servers except one dude who didn't want to change one of the TVs to the Real Salt Lake MLS Championship game. I know this is America and it is soccer, but they are the local team and they were playing for the championship.

If you are with a few people the best thing to do is order a big order of wings on one ticket because the more you order the cheaper it will be. I usually spend around $25 for buf chips, 15-20 wings, draft beer, and tip. I have friends that swear by the quesadillas as well. There is a long list of wing flavors and you get your choose of sauces for dipping. My fav is the Razz Chipolte. They make baked wings which are much better than those crispy fried type wings. Plenty of beers on tap too and you can get a pitcher (not everywhere in UT serves pitchers) I took a star off because too often when I order the buffalo chips there are hardly any in the basket. The theater across the street fills up the basket when I order their version. Last time I went we ordered some new nachos they had on the menu and was let down when they came. There was absolutely no cheese of any kind even after we mentioned it and they sent us a new order.

Well I had to review something in my trip to Ogden um!! good wings and the hog wings were unique and good. The service was bad and I had to chase down someone to help us after the service was just standing at bar talking. but food was good. That crap Utah near Beer can suck my nuts thought.
