I've eaten here about two dozen times and have never been disappointed. Â Chef is a culinary school grad who takes extra steps to make every dish special. Â Food is made with great care. Â This diner is a little off the beaten path - you can't see it from Route 6 - but is worth the hunt. Â It is the best diner in the area by a long shot.
Review Source:My wife and I went to lunch here on 12/2. She ordered a cup of chicken soup and a chicken salad wrap, on the lunch special menu. I ordered the cheeseburger club. The chicken soup was very good but unfortunately it was luke warm. The chicken salad was very good and it was grilled. My cheeseburger club was very good both came with french fries. The service was very good. The waitress told us the chef makes a great shrimp scampi and has a $13.95 prime rib special. I would definitely go back.
Review Source:Nice, clean, fast, and inexpensive. Â I like the Woodbury Diner b/c it's not a grease pit, it's actually refined (if you can call a diner that!). Â We had a group of seven and they served us quickly. Â Everything was delicious, as well. Â The creme brulee french toast was great, the egg salad sandwich special was tasty (didn't even need salt and pepper), the fries were excellent. Â No milkshakes served, we discovered, but everything else made us very happy.
Review Source:My husband and I have had a couple of meals here. The prices are pretty reasonable, which is a plus. It's clean which is another plus.
Service is friendly and fast. It's a bit tough on a vegetarian as far as selections, but knowing that, I'm fine with some fries, and grilled cheese while my husband orders a burger. I'm pretty sure they had eggplant parm on the menu, and perhaps I'm being judgemental here, but I just can't bring myself to order that kind of thing in any diner.
