I saw this spot of the corner of my eye while passing by... What a wonderful watering hole. Too many beers to count and plenty of the ones I like. Felt right in as both the owner and patrons made me feel welcome. Tough to find kinda but well worth it

Darn good beer choices. Bartender was very cool as I was the only- hey I'm stinky and disheveled but I just got done with a river trip-dude in the place. Couple old boys watching golf-group of young athletic looking girls and boys drinking beer. Great beer and warm people.

I started going here about six months ago when I moved down the street in Auburn. I love this place! I wasn't much of a beer drinker till I started going here and now I love tasting the new stuff they get in all the time. My man and I love going here when we have some free times to have ourselves a little darts tournament between us.

They are always very nice to us, usually have our beers ready for us as we walk in if they see us walking up to the place. Very awesome people and vibe here.

We need one of these in Grass Valley. It's not that being a half hour drive to get there is the problem, it's the drive back after all of the great beers they have to offer. Maybe consider a shuttle from Grass Valley? Great beer, darts are always fun!

I really dig this place. It's comfortably small and the bartenders and locals are friendly.  Always a great selection of reasonably priced beers on tap, some that I haven't seen elsewhere.

What a cool little bar! Great beers and an awesome selection. Games! Lots of games...Wii, darts, board games, cribbage. The only downside is its a small bar, and very popular, so it can get crowded easily. I'll definitely be adding this to my list of places to hang out for a few brews!

A little nugget hidden in North Auburn. Excellent, rotating selection of craft beers, ranging from hard to find seasonals to PBR.  The bartenders are welcoming and knowledgeable.  The vibe is chill, regulars immediately treat you as friends. You really aren't going to find a place better than this.

We love this place. Lots of tasty microbrews on tap, and a large selection of bottled micros as well. The owners are awesome. Good live music on the weekends.

Driving by, you'd never guess such an awesome place was there - it's right next to a gas station on Grass Valley highway.

Once inside, you will find an indoor biergarten, complete with long tables and communal benches - perfect for playing one of the many board games they have stacked against the wall, and more than enough elbow room so that you don't knock your buddy's drink to the floor.

Beyond the awesome wall decor (i.e., clocks, framed images of Moe and Barney), wide array of tasty brews, and friendly-as-they-are-attentive bartenders, there's some good music to be heard as well. Stop in to see The Lampshade Tango one of these nights - you'll be in for a treat!

A friend I and stopped in here yesterday after checking out the Auburn Cruise Nite car show (a cool, small town event every second Friday through September).

I don't really know where to start about this place. Its in an old strip mall on the corner of Bell Rd. and Grass Valley Hwy. It has fabulous wood floors, a few locals permanently affixed to the barstools, a clean bathroom, the "dug-out" - a quaint fenced in area behind the bar for smokers even though most seemed to hang out in the front, a charming fireplace, 2 big screen TV's with the game on, lots of board games, WII, 2 dart boards, pretty much anything you could need - they don't have pool tables but I thought it was perfect. The bartender, Eric - who doubles as the owner :) was pretty awesome. Super funny, super laid back, he gave me hell about ordering Bud Light and offered up samples of other beers on tap (of which there seemed to be tons!),  he also had a few big coolers stocked full of all kinds of beers. Greg aka Billly Idol served as the evenings entertainment - he is quite the storyteller.

We were here for several hours and all night long locals came in and Eric called them all by name. Even though we weren't 'one of them' they were all super nice and welcoming. I'm a fan and we'll definitely be back.

This place is amazing. Eric, the owner, can recommend a beer for anyone, and the connections he built as a brewery representative over the years means he has access to rare and limited beers. Great for the beer snob and cheap date alike!

    I simply adore this place!

At first i was a bit afraid of it, having driven by it numerous times, because it looks a bit sleazy from the outside.  I finally braved it one night and went in.  Boy was I glad I did!

It's not the biggest bar in the world but most of the time it's more than adequate.  As far as i can tell the bartenders are also the owners and are very friendly.  If you've been in there more than once they will recognize you, if you've been in there several times they'll call you by name and welcome you to have a seat.

There are a lot of regulars there so at first it may be a bit intimidating if you're a newbie.  But the bartenders there are very friendly, especially if you start talking about what they love to talk about... beer.  And there is a lot of beer there.... bottled and a ton on tap.  It can be overwhelming so just ask for a recommendation.  They'll let you taste beers on tap and they really seem to get a kick out of introducing you to your new favorite beer.

The bar itself is clean.  More importantly the bathrooms are clean.  There are two dartboards and a regular group of people who are pretty good at playing but more than happy to let a novice step in for a try.  There's a good selection of board games and chess.  There's also a big flatscreen you can play Wii on.  There are two other tvs at the bar.

They never try to hurry you out and are more than happy to let you sit there and nurse your one beer for two hours.  Prices are reasonable considering the quality of the beer they serve.  For those not into beer they have a limited selection of nonalcoholic beverages.  They don't have a kitchen but they do have hot dogs, brats, panninis, snacks, etc.  And I don't think they mind if you bring outside food in but I'd probably ask first and order a beer to go with it.  They do have a lunch special which is pretty cheap and very filling, but not at all healthy.... it is a bar afterall, not Jamba Juice.

Really great beer selection, and super nice bartend.  We started going here right after Eric opened the place.  He really has put his heart and soul into it, and I hope he keeps it going.

However, the N. Auburn location tends to bring in a lot of people that, to be honest, wouldn't be the my first choice of people to hang out with.  Always a couple of people outside smoking... just not my kind of crowd.  I've never had any issues there, but it has become less comfortable for me on recent visits.

I have been going to World Pub for many months now, they have an awesome assortment of beers, 24 taps, and a large cooler stocked full. They also serve sandwiches and an assortment of Dogs and Brats. The staff is extremely down to earth and knowledgeable about the brews as well. Depending on the the bartender, they usually remember you by your first name.
The first time I walk ed in there I felt right at home. Eric, Scott, Irene and Abby make you feel valued, special and wanted when you are in their establishment. What more could a customer or patron want. They go to all outs to make your stay a pleasant one.

The best place for anyone who knows anything about beer in Auburn.... Hands down. Eric is a wealth of knowledge and has tons of experience with nearly every aspect of the beer industry.

I like to go to this place after hiking in Auburn.  Great place to relax and try new beers on tap.  The bartender is always very friendly.  Very mellow atmosphere.  Casual, small, and a great neighborhood bar feel.

Great little pub that feels like a cross between a brewery tasting room and a friend's bar done up in his den or garage.  Dartboards, boardgames and WII Sports provides entertainment.

The proprietor and crowd are friendly, and there is an excellent selection of microbrews and imports on tap and in bottles.

The location is easy to miss, but if you live or pass through the area, it is worth looking for.

Beers from all over... lots of CA breweries, fox, sudwerk, etc... 24 beers on tap, with another 60+ in bottles. They have peanuts and hotdogs (beer brats). But no other food.

The atmosphere is kind of clean dive style, a couple dart boards, bar, couch and chairs, TV's with the game on, and a tv with Rock band. Place is pretty small probably not suitable for super large groups unless you are planning to take the whole place over.

The service from our bartendress of the day was good but I wouldn't call it friendly, maybe if you're a local, you have a different experience.
