I really like this Restaurant. It's nice, clean, and they play my kind of music. Â 80's
Food is really good. Â It's a nice little chain. Nice up and coming. Â I dig it. Â I wish there was one closer to where I live. Â Their Asian dishes are phenomenal. You wouldn't think that a restaurant could prepare such enticing dishes. Â Well they do here. Â And if you are a fan of beer welcome to beer heaven.
NOTE TO MANAGEMENT:
The one thing that did bother me and this is why they get a minus.  Servers with tacky nails. The fake acrylic kind.  It looks gross when you are handling food.  I don't think it's sanitary.  That  and the hair being tied back away from the face.  It just bothers me you don't know what is lurking underneath those nails or when a strand of hair will land in your food.
Would only recommend adults going, not too kid friendly from what I experienced. There is nothing that comes to mind that describes what kind of food yard house actually serves, its difficult to put a style on it. Ive seen burgers, sushi, steak and salads but nothing that really defines the restaurant. A bit pricey too, quite honestly unless you're there for the alcohol selection i would choose somewhere else to eat.
Review Source:The Yard House has the best food in town!! Â I have been to practically every restaurant in the AV Mall and the yard house topped my list besides Fresco II. The Yard House has perfect foods for all with its amazing menu to choose from. Everything on their menu is grand from their appetizers to their desserts.
Not only is their food on the top of the lists in town but their drinks are amazing!!!
The dark atmosphere and their staff are good.
Thumbs up guys and keep your customers pleased.
Every time I go to Yard House I have a great experience. The hostess is polite, I am seated quickly, and it doesn't take long for the waiter or waitress to ask what I would like to drink or if I want appetizers. Though the meals look a tad expensive you get a lot of food! I can leave full with a box of left overs, which they are nice enough to box up and label. They stop by the table just the right amount of times, not too little where i have to beg for service, but not so much that I can't enjoy my meal in peace. There are many TVs so I don't have to watch basketball, I have the option to watch hockey. Everyone who works there is really professional and I appreciate their service.
Review Source:I love this place. I love their appetizers, love their beers, love their food and their desserts. Their menu has a big variety so it makes it a bit hard to pick just one. My all time favorite is the enchilada stacker.
I've tried a couple of their beers and personally I don't like beer but their Timmermans Framboise is amazing.
I've also tried a couple of their desserts and I always order their creme brûlée. I love the chocolate at the bottom and caramelized banana's.
Definitely a place to try for your self.
Came here for dinner on a Friday night and called earlier in the day for a reservation, but told they do "call ahead" only to put you on the list for a table if you're a not a large party. What constitutes a large party? When we arrived  an hour later we were seated within 10 minutes.
Our waitress was incredibly friendly and made some good food and cocktail recommendations. Per her suggestion, I tried the Mac 'n' Cheese which comes with several different cheeses (which now I can't recall), mushrooms and meat. I unique spin on mac 'n' cheese that I enjoyed, but it was rich and not very hot, so the small plate is plenty! My friend ordered the tacos which were standard, and the meat was tender so no complaints here.
The portions are fairly large, which justifies the price point on some items. Overall, okay food, but for that price and food quality I might go elsewhere.
I've been here 3 times since I moved to AV. Â The food is really, really, really (need I say more?) Â good. Â Truffle french fries, kimchi taco, tuna tartare, steak, garlic noodles, seafood noodles, shrimp ceviche, lobster and artichoke dip, nachos (to name a few, lol) are some of my favorites. Â My friends and I usually order a lot of the starters and appetizers to sample =) So far, it's been great. Â Their cocktails are quite tasty as well.
Review Source:Most excellent menu options and setting. Â It was very clean and the food was served before we could yap too much. Â It was quite a hike for us to ride into town but it was well worth it. Â Our waitress, Brittany H, is the one of the most stunning women to walk the Earth. Â If Yard House has a marketing strategy to employ all models to get repeat costumers, mission accomplished! Â Well done. Â :)

This place far exceeded my expectations. I popped into this place looking for a bite to eat and a drink. With all the beers on tap, I expected just decent food but what I got was far beyond that. Where else compares in the Lancaster area, no where!
With all the mess of people being there, we had great service and a very helpful waitress. Â Her name was Lauren and did an exceptional job! Shes a beautiful slim redhead that always smiled and made our night, the best waitress I've had in yrs. Â Thank you so much for letting us have a great experience even with all the hectic chaos! We will see you all again!
It was pretty quiet and I didn't have to scream to have a conversation with my friend. Super cool place, great service, great food and a beer selection big enough to satisfy any drinker. Well 130+ beers on tap to satisfy any beer enthutist! I ordered the Hawaiian burger with the truffle fries, it was absolutely amazing! The sauce it came out with really hit the spot as well. We even got a round on the house because it took a little longer than usual to come out, thanks!
I'll be back here the next time I'm in CA.
I'm stoked that Palmdale finally has some good resturants instead of the same old tired Red Lobster and Olive Garden at the mall that I grew up with. Â I've been to several Yardhouse locations and I thought the floorplan of this one was probably the best. Â We didn't eat, but our bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. Â My dad is one of those people who ONLY drinks his usual crap, light beer - but the bartender was able to find him something different that he liked and it was nice to share a beer with my dad. Â Oh - and I accidently left my shopping bag on the seat next to me when we left - and several hour laters realized my mistake. Â The bag was held safe and sound with the manager and was able to be retrieved super quick.
Review Source:We had a large party at this YardHouse location for a birthday celebration a month back. We arranged the specifics of our event with a representative from corporate.
I have to say--- I was very impressed with the service for our large party overall. The servers were attentive, they stored our cake for us in their fridge, and even accepted a balloon delivery for us and placed the balloons on the outdoor patio.
For the most part, the food came out promptly, warm, and fresh. Some of the highlights were the crispy fries, buffalo wing appetizer, and the club sandwich.
One minor disappointment was the fact that the servers unfortunately did not cut our birthday cake for us, even though the woman from corporate said that would be included in the price.
Overall, the food and ambiance was great, and probably some of the best in Palmdale!
I had the lime cilantro shrimp and it was excellent. My friends also enjoyed their meals, including the filet. We had a large group, larger than we had called ahead for, but they still seated us right away on a Saturday night. Service was good. Not a very large selection of wine, especially considering the selection of beer. I would definately return.
Review Source:Went after church on a Sunday to catch the first round of football games (and eat). Â Selection was great (but not too much...like BJs) and the service was fantastic! Â We were sat quickly, drinks came within the first five minutes and our food came within a reasonable time. Â Our server (Danielle) was fantastic!
Only complaint was that they couldn't play the game audio...despite having 20+ TVs with the various games on it. Â I asked our server and she said the management doesn't allow it...which is absurd. Â While this is certainly set up to be more upscale, that doesn't prevent you from piping game audio in your dining room/bar. Â But seeing as that is my ONLY complaint this was a great visit and we'll go again...just probably not during a football game.
Yup, yup, I love this Yardhouse, second time here. Â It is a big restaurant and bar area. Â I wonder what was here before? Â Than again I don't spend time in Palmdale as I usually just pass through going to Mammoth or home from Mammoth. Â TV's all around. Â The food is GREAT especially during happy hour time. Â Sliders, hot wings, and more.
So I had turkey burger sliders and the original cheeseburger sliders...One with original fries and the other with Truffle Fries. Â Yum truffle fries. Â This place is food heaven.
I especially love the pipings that goes from the keg storage room to the bar.
Three stars ONLY for the fact that it has an amazing selection of beer on tap and a full bar. Bartenders are friendly and give fast service! The food however, marginal at best. Ordered lobster pasta and only took three bites. The lobster was extremely fishy, and the pasta wasn't pasta, it literally tasted like Chinese takeout, which I'm fine with-just not for $22 a plate!!
Happy hour will be the only reason I ever return (IF I ever do)
I've become a huge fan of the Yard House over the years. Â I love the large selection of draft beers in a gourmet restaurant and a pub fusion type of environment. Â I love the size of this particular Yard House. Â It has a big patio area, big indoor area, and a big bar area. Â They have TVs all over the restaurant and bar area with sports going on and will be happy to change the channel to what game you may want to watch. Â
I'm a gourmet food guy so I always judge a place off of their food and I love the Yard House's food! Â What I really like about their menu is that they have some traditional American restaurant items, but most of their dishes have a slightly funky twist on them, or they are items that you just don't normally see on a major restaurants menu. Â They use great quality ingredients in their dishes, and they have great presentation.
On the appetizer menu, I love the Chicken Nachos. Â It's pretty big though so I suggest that it's an appetizer for 3 or more people, and a meal for 1-2 people. Â Their bone-in and boneless wings are excellent, and so are they blue crab cakes.
For entrees, when I'm at a pub type of place I can never go wrong with an order of Fish & Chips, and you can't go wrong with the Yard House version either.  The Blue Crab Cake Hoagie with apple wood smoked bacon, avocado, Swiss, tomato, and a Cajun aïoli on garlic toasted french bread is one of my favorite sandwiches here.  But, my favorite item to order is the Surf & Turf Burger.  It's an all natural beef patty, topped with chucks of Maine lobster sauteed in garlic butter, grilled asparagus, Swiss & tomato Bearnaise!  It's an amazing burger!  the sandwiches and burgers come with fries, but I prefer to substitute the garlic fries.  They're really good too.
Once you figure out what you want to chow down on, then you have the fun part of working you way down the large list of over 100 draft beers from all over the world. Â I try to make it a point to try a new beer every time time I go there.
Overall, good quality food, a large variety of great quality beers, and in a comfortable yet trendy environment. Â How could you go wrong?
Really glad we finally have a YH up here in the AV. Â It's a fun place to go for your lunch break or a night out with the guys/girls. Â The service is always very good. Â The last time I was there, I saw no less than 4 different runners bringing drinks and food to the table. Â So the team concept there is definitely working and helps to get your stuff out quickly.
I like their lunch pairings and obviously their beer selection is pretty extensive. Â Half yard of Black Velvet for me please.
They're not spectacular at gluten free though. Â So if you're sensitive, then beware and make sure you're crystal clear about what you can and cannot eat. Â My daughter ate there and ordered what was supposed to be gluten free and was not feeling well at all that night.
Highly anticipated when it finally opened in July '12, this place doesn't let you down.... I ordered the Jalapeno burger and it was very good. Obviously the beer selection is redunkulous; Lost Coast Tangerine Wheat beer is very refreshing. Also, instead of ordering cake for desert try the chocolate stout beer float. You won't regret it.
Note to owner... please get Yuengling on tap!
VIRGIN PINA COLADA!!!! whether u drink alcohol or not... or u dont' feel like drinking alcohol and everyone else is drinking alcohol get this!!! ahhh so good. i ordered 2.
food was whatever honestly....I kinda felt it wasn't worth my money... all the snack menu is not very great. even the truffle fries are kinda blah...deviled eggs seemed to me they were pre-made or something..I'd come here only during their happy hours. Their hh pizzas (esp margherita) are really good as i've mentioned in my previous review.
Will I come back? Only during their hh and if needed for the atmosphere
I am leaving 3 stars because overall, I just was not too impressed.
This may be for a lot of people who drink beer. And if you are a person like that, then I highly recommend Yard House, and I would even give them probably 5 stars for selection of beers. What do they have, like 100 on tap?
But for food, it is just typical bar food, but at high end prices. We went during happy hour. So I believe things are half priced.
It wasn't bad, but it didn't blow my mind either.
Work lately has brought me to the Antelope Valley, so last night after I finished up my duties I met up with a few coworkers at The Yardhouse at the AV Mall right off the 14 freeway and Ave P. They suggested this place due the beer selection and late night menu so I was game. Nothing crazy just a little unwinding with the crew after a long day. I showed up around 10:30 and the place was huge but not crowded t (it was a Wed night). The bartender was adorable and very nice. She brought us our drinks ASAP and when our other coworkers showed up, she appeared like a ninja and got their drinks lickity split. One friend ordered a double blue label and she said that if he bought two singles it would save him $10 so that was pretty cool. Not trying to up-sell and squeeze every last dime from the customer is refreshing.
We ordered a batch of wings to split just to snack on and they weren't bad at all.
The bar-back asked if we needed any additional sides and he brought out blue cheese, ranch, extra buffalo wing sauce, and more celery on the double.
After my drink I asked the barkeep for a water. Halfway done with my water she flexes her ninja skills again and as I turn around my water is full.
Was very impressed with the quality of service and overall courtesy of the staff.
Will definitely return if I'm in the area again.
4/5!!!
This chain is known for their great beer selections... most of them are on tap too.
The ribeye is tasty and tender, but not very thick.
Green Chile cheeseburger & fries is a great bar fair treat.
The chocolate soufflé is like an undercooked brownie. This is an excellent dessert for the $.
The spinach dip is good, but nothing exceptional.
Come for the beer and the bar food.
The Yard House... yeah, they have a lot of beers on tap. Yeah... they have a big menu. Yeah... they have people that bring food to your table. Yeah... the food is laden with calories and will eventually kill you.
The problem is that everything they serve here you can get anywhere else, usually for cheaper (and if not cheaper, definitely better), and usually with the ability to hear the conversation coming from the people sitting at your table. I really wanted to like this place. I kind of do, but I mostly don't.
Why? There's no need for another Wal-Mart sized chain restaurant in the AV. There just isn't. Carino's. Whatever the disappointing Mexican place is. Red Lobster. Olive Garden. Chili's. Claim Jumper. BJs. Famous Dave's. The Yard House offers a name and a lot of beer, but that's it. In other words: the only thing that makes this place different than any other place are chuckleheads in flat-brimmed energy drink hats. And to be honest, there's nothing remotely interesting or redeeming about any of the competition within the mall.
There is simply no reason to go here more than twice as a novelty experience of seeing what 1,000 beers on tap looks like. The food isn't that good, the truffle-oil fries are disgustingly truffled (which is like over-duck-fatting a potatoe: next to impossible), and there's nothing unique about the beer outside being able to select any one of the mediocre offerings of affiliates of mega-breweries. In other words: what should make it special they don't do well and what they do well doesn't make an impression. That could be good if your only requirement for a $60 tab is that you not hate the place, but I like to go out and like coming home having liked been out.
This place is Chili's.... just with better bathroom fixtures, a see-through refrigerator wall, and higher prices.
I have been to the Yard House in Palmdale four times since they opened. The first two times were just the family and the other two with groups. I am anything but impressed. The food is ok, and somethings have a unique twist, but factoring in the prices I will pass on any more returns. Both times we went with groups were for B-Day dinners and the service sucked and multiple mistakes were made. Our friends called for tonight's dinner reservation yesterday and was told all they had was the patio, that it was enclosed and there were heaters. Besides being winter in the high desert I was cold the entire dinner, we had four kids in the group and plastic sheets with huge gaps do not make an enclosed patio. On top of that they screwed up four of the orders, brought out two of the kids meals last, made mistakes on the bills and I could go on.
If you are going to the bar for beer and ale go for it, great selection. For beer and food go to BJ's in the same mall or go to Lancaster Blvd and try Kinetic Brewing.
A beer loving Yard House not so much local.
What a pleasant atmosphere and super friendly wait staff.
I arrived during happy hour and the waitress was more than happy to go over the martini menu with me and even brought me a couple samples of the extensive beers they serve.
The martinis were amazing, they definately do NOT skimp on the alcohol, and then the food...OMG !
I had steak and shrimp, which was cooked to absolute perfection, which is hard to do because I am extremely picky about my meat !
The only downside was the calamari was mostly tentacles..and the to go boxes were paper....did not work well for my leftover steak and shrimp. The steak was pretty much stuck to the box after putting in the refrigerator and since I don't have an appetite for paper stuck to my food it went to waste.
If you have been to any other Yardhouse you will be dissappointed with the food at this one. Â Not that it ain't yummy, but it pales in comparison to the LA or Longbeach Yardhouse. Â For instance I love the turkey pot pie, but at the Palmdale Yardhouse the turkey was dry and hard.
Nice mix of seating, tables/booths/bar/bar tables.
Good lighting. Good service. Nice patio. Plenty to drink, if you like beer this is the place for you. Decent happy hour with half-priced drinks and appetizers. Plenty of TV's. Great ambiance.
Despite my beef with the food, I go back time and time again. Overall it a great place to eat and drink, you will feel comfortable there.
This review is for the bar! Â I would never want to wait for an actual table... but you can just go straight to the bar and order drinks and food. Â It gets pretty loud in there (lots of people lots of music), but there are many bartenders working and you can order from any of them. Â I hadn't gone out in 3 months, so this was definitely a treat.
Their portobello mushroom wraps, guac and chips (the portion was a little small), and their pizza was YUM YUM YUM.
I stuck with the House Amber, all 6 pints, and Mmmmm it was good. Â I went with my sister and had a blast. Â Had the chance to meet a great bartender Christina! Â She was sweet, entertaining and friendly!
I'd definitely go back if I get a chance :)
Total was around $115 for the two of us which was a bit of a splurge, but we deserved it....hehe
Group of 5 went to the new Palmdale Yardhouse for dinner last night, and unfortunately  walked out disapointed, maybe last time there.
My wife and I have been to Pasadena Yardhouse and compared to Palmdale it seems to be a different chain, or maybe management  seems to think people in Palmdale deserve less than good service, but yet prices are same . It's understandable that its new to the Antelope Valley ,but it's not some new restaurant chain, and for that my frustration that whoever hired the waiters/cook didn't have time to train them or  show them what a medium steak supposed to look like or a well done burger (that my son ordered) brought out red can cause.
-Also do not be fooled by their Pollo Loco salsa cup size sides ,rip-off,-in fact i think Pollo Loco has better Pinto Beans as sides.
This was our second time to the Palmdale locale.First time our food was good ,but  same as last night our waitress didn't know the cocktail my wife ordered that was recommended by a cousin who had ordered it there before ,making us feel like we didn't know what we were ordering, I thank her after a lost look ,she, (our waitress) went to the bar and asked and guess what ?...the bartender did know how to make it.
- Don't mind paying for a well cooked steak and great service, do hate wrong cooked steaks and mixed up orders.-Will.
The place is great. Service was great. The food service NOT SO
GREAT my husband food arrived 10 minutes before mind the manager didn't feel sorry about the service thouught we made up the delay of the food ... We were unhappy the manager didn't offer a discount or dessert on the house. they should learn customer service.
