It's not bad, but it's not spectacular. I remember when it used to be Charlie Brown's, so this was the first time inside Your Mother's House since they took over the space not too long ago. They have a pretty large dining area, and a large bar. I'm told that it can get very busy on the weekends and the wait time can be unbearable. We happened to come here on a Thursday night, and were able to get a table for 4 right away.
Our server was Denise. She took our drink orders first. We then ordered the bang bang crispy shrimp and the crab and spinach dip for appetizers. The shrimp was good but it could have been more crispy to be honest. The crab and spinach dip was good, and its served with warm flatbread. For entrees, I had the Honky Tonk burger, medium rare with sweet potato sides and asked for the sauces on the side, rather than on the burger. They came on the burger. The burger also comes on a "pretzel bun" which I thought would be similar to the pretzel bun they serve at Red Robin, but no, this is a homemade pretzel molded into a bun. It didnt really stay together after the first bite, making it hard to eat the rest of the burger.
My boyfriend ordered the full rack of ribs with the asian glaze. It was actually cooked quite nicely, with the meat falling off the bone. The regular french fries were a little weird, like overfried or something. Then for dessert, we had the fried oreos. Pretty good way to end the meal, but I am overstuffed!
Overall it was a good hangout spot. The food is not as bad as what the rest of the yelpers say. I would return and try other things.
I made the mistake of coming here on a Friday night and the DJ seems to think it's a club or something, because the music was OBNOXIOUSLY LOUD. There wasn't many people here.. just a small birthday with 15 people and regulars around the bar. No one was really dancing, but the music just kept going.
