Disappointing...
Decor: The setting is upscale and well maintained. Â It definitely has an older feel to it but makes it good for taking the rents out.
Service: Our server was very nice but overall wasn't fantastic. Â We had to wait an extended period of time for our menu's, he forgot part of our drink order and barely came over to the table during our time there. Â The rest of the staff was similar in being nice but unpolished in that they would pour water a haphazardly and wasn't very careful in delivery food or clearing the table. Â
Food: Wow, what a disappointment. Â They say the Salmon is wild, I don't believe it. Â The mashed potato's seem like they are out of a box and the other dishes I tried were not even as good as what I would cook at home. Â And I'm REALLY NOT a good cook.
Although the pricing is reasonable for the atmosphere I'm not going to repeat.
Fancy looking and yummy tasting brunch for less!! Â I am so happy to have found this place! Â I have been looking for a fancy looking brunch place that is reasonably priced for some time now and have finally found a great little place! Â Yay! Â
Not only is it upper scale looking inside but the food was yummy and reasonably generous. Â I went there the weekend before Christmas and had an omelette with ham and Gruyere cheese..its was amazing! Â The food quality was high and the service was quick enough. Â The only comment about service that I have is that our waiter completely lacked personality and seemed a little bit like he was on auto pilot but no biggie.
All in all a great experience!
Can't wait to start taking friends and family there! Â Also looking forward to trying them for dinner. Â Their menu for dinner is also reasonably priced for what looks like upper scale dinning. Â They also have seafood nights and stake nights, etc.
Came here for brunch on a Sunday around noon. The price was decent. Had the eggs benedict with salmon and it was delicious, although I've had better before. You get a choice of complimentary mimosa/tea/coffee. My friends ordered the omettele and oven baked pancake and they said it was really good too. Â This restaurant is actually part of New Hyde Park Inn. There is a lot of free street parking nearby on a sunday. Â I would come here again!
