Yvonne's Cafe

Having visited OG for many years and now living in The Grove, we have dined in nearly every restaurant within 10 miles, I have to say that Yvonne's "specials" menu has IT all over any other restaurant nearby.  The chef succeeds where others only try to succeed.  Eat in or outside. Yvonne and her Chef are a gift to Ocean Grove and Monmouth County and all those who have the good fortune to visit from outside the area.
PS. If you have to wait a bit for the "specials", it  IS worth it!

Yvonne's is our go-to place in the Grove if we want a full breakfast.  My only complaint is that the portions are HUGE. They are the only place in the area open at 7:00 am and year round.  Pretty much have only had breakfast here, so I can't comment on lunch or dinner.

I got a chicken dish that was on the specials menu. It was flavorless, dry and smelled like it was about to go bad before they cooked it. I did mention it but it was not addressed. Won't be back. Hire a Chef!
