I love this cafe! Â It is a little bit more pricey, but the food and coffee are well worth it! Â The environment with the sofas and the tables by the window are really nice. Â The art inside is so colorful and interesting, it's fun to sit and look at! Â
Try a white mocha here! Â I haven't had one that tastes quite like it!
Loved it. Would have given them a 5 if the clam chowder were a little thicker. Great flavor but just more of a brothy soup. Which may have been her goal. I ordered to go 1/2 quiche ( lovely crust) and soup for under $9.00 approximate. I ordered a famous salted caramel cupcake which I will eat in a moment. Parking in back was easy. Gals were kind and friendly. Will go back again and again especially for quiche. They put a little garnish in box that was a tiny and yummy salad with CREAMY dallop of dressing with foccacia bread~ ! What a delight. If the cafe reads this review, I hope they know I loved all very much. I just like a thicker clam chowder, my personal thing. It was perfect, I am sure Chef Ramsey would like it!
Review Source:I LOVE Zola's Cafe. We typically go there for lunch a group of us know It's the place to go for a good sandwich and salad combo.
The sandwich I get is the Tuna Melt. It's toasted on a panini press and served with a side salad. The salad I get with extra ranch dressing! The ranch dressing is amazing thicker and homemade! The Chai Tea latte is my favorite drink.
My coworkers like the Peach tea and Sandwich & Salad combo as well.
Typically we'd get the mini chocolate cupcake for $0.65, even when dieting we would always have room for a little cupcake. Then one day we noticed something new to choose from...
Salted Caramel Bites (mini cupcake) OH. MY. GAWD! Soooo amazing!
In a way I don't want to share this secret because I don't want the rest of the world to buy all my Salted Caramel Bites from there!
They are so great though.
We typically come 3-4 people for lunch and if there is only 1 caramel bite and not enough for the group to order. They'll bake us some FRESH while we eat our Sammy & Salad.
WE LOVE LOVE LOVE ZOLA'S! Go there... but SAVE me some!
What a great place to read, do homework, or meet with friends. I had amazing coffee here and worked for a few hours.
They have a lot of seating for individuals or groups. Also the pastries are delish.
The coffee here is really good. I could tell they care about making it well. The cups are super cute too.
Zola's reminds me of Friend's 'Central Perk' coffee house (in a way that is). They have a fireplace and a sofa.
I went on a Friday afternoon for lunch. Ordered 1/2 turkey sandwich with soup, and tea (Mediterranean, I think). Turkey was surprisingly good; while soup was very steamy hot and had no taste. Tea was refreshing.
Service was average, and slow considering number of customers in there at the time. My order was sent to another table before it came to me.
Parking is on the side of the street, and more available behind the building.
I've drove by here lots of times but finally came in to try it. The coffee was good, I got my usual(Iced, White Coffee, White and Dark Chocolate) Tried and hummus plate it came with warm pita bread triangles, and carrots....the hummus itself was just Ok. My sister got a side salad with honey mustard, the gal behind the counter says the honey mustard is homemade....my sister really enjoyed it. It was a warm day and ddint feel like there was any AC which kind of sucked. But the barasita was nice and it was quit. I would def come back for lunch.
Review Source:Food and coffee are just ok; customer service is quite bad. The lady with the short black hair is by far the worst (I think she is the owner). They seem to be very friendly if you are a regular. I have been going there at least once a week for a couple of months and have not been greeted once, they just stare at me until I tell them what I want. Very weird! I will give them another chance, only because there really aren't any other options in Auburn.
Review Source:I had my first Zebra coffee here! I loved the atmosphere to this place - warm, and vibrant. The owner is very nice as well as the workers. I came to this place a lot about a year ago when I was temping for the city of Auburn. It's been a while since I've gone back but I def recommend this place for people who are close by.
Review Source:There is not one negative thing that I can say about this place! Â Every time I go there, the owner remembers me and what I usually order. Â You would think that a coffee shop would have "great" coffee and "good" food - but Zola's is different! Â Everything that I've tried at this cafe is awesome, and the quality is always excellent every time I go there! Â The teas are out of this world (the jasmine vanilla is awesome!) as well as everything else.
If you're looking for QUALITY food, coffee, and teas then this is the place!
A. Mazing. Sandwich. Sounds lame, right? How good can a sandwich be? It's just a sandwich!
Well then, my friend, you've never had an honest-to-god good sandwich. Simle they may be, but when done right they're just fantastic.
Also, great service from the shop owner herself was awesome, super friendly, fast, and fun. They also have lots of gourmet teas (hot and iced) and a small but high quality beer selection (in the bottle only, unfortunately).
The free Wi-Fi and comfortable seating make this about the perfect place to chill with friends, read a book, or get some writing done. If I lived in Auburn I'd be here multiple times a week, I went here twice when I was visiting Washington and I really can't recommend it enough.
I like the interior, what they serve, and the food was good. But I don't think it's really a child-friendly establishment. We weren't there long and there we no other customers in at the time but they seemed very annoyed by my son eating the yogurt and milk we bought him to eat. the one bad thing he did was get yogurt on the table and glass door which I promptly cleaned up and offered to use any spray cleaner to make the door look even more perfect again. They declined but we really felt unwelcome.
It's by the courthouse so I assume it's mostly adults. In that case, it is a good place.
I love this place! It's super close to my work so I love coming here on my lunches. They have extra comfy couches and reading material so when I have nothing to do on a long lunch I'll just pop in here and sit and read for a spell to kill some time.
They have GREAT coffee and I'm always curious to try their sandwiches or their hummus plate. I did try one of their soups once and it was honestly awful (it was the chicken jambalaya) and it just tasted so tinny and watery which is unfortunate because I am into chicken jambalaya in a big way.
Their amazing coffee makes up for the lackluster soup, and I like how they bring your coffee out to you in a mug if you're ordering in. It just makes it seem like a real coffee place not just a place to stop by on the run.
Recommended!!
I've been meaning to stop in this corner cafe since I moved to Auburn.
Finally did a pitstop there before my colour fix at the tattoo shop.
Loved this place! It's like my old stomping grounds in Freemont neighborhood in Seattle! (desparate homesick for my bohemian corner cafes with design character and art!)
Got to meet Zola herself, she is refreshing, fun and upbeat.
Sometimes u'll go to a store where the owner works and they're burnt out and u don't even know why ur still handing them your hard earned money.
This cafe has a large fireplace, art displayed by artist friends of her's on sale, and photography as well!!
So fun, I will b going back to buy larger items, but could only indulge with a cute fun photo to frame for my kitchen!
Coffee was good, just the way I ordered it.
So if u miss Seattle art cafe's ZOLAS is the place.
U wont regret it.
p.s. they of course had a pastry counter I will try next time
GO!
