I went there after going to Cockatoo's last night and it started off pretty rocky. They didn't have smaller rooms so we were put in the room with a dance floor which was alright, BUT the wireless mics were not working. After 12 minutes of trying to figure it out... (waste of time), the lady finally replaced it with another set which worked fine.

I did like the fact that you can get your polaroid taken and place it on the wall. :) We have marked our territory on their wall of polaroids.

Will I go again? Maybe...if I'm in the area and there are no other better options.

Just visited today for the first time, and had a BLAST! Sound was great, room was great, atmosphere (in the room) was great~
I asked the owner for one hour service and he gave me extra 30 minutes for free! God, I LOVE singing =)
I could just stay in there ALL DAY.

I will come back with more friends next time =)

My favorite place ever for Karaoke because it's cheap!!!

The Karaoke joint is like an apt complex. big rooms, cheap prices. $25 for an hour for a room that can probably fit 10 people. A bigger room, which can probably fit like 20 is $35. GREAT deals. They try to be up to date on recent music, and they do a pretty good job, just less variety.

But they are really nice, and always worth the drive south!

My friends and I are regulars here. Every time we come, we almost, always get the same room.

The couple who runs this place is very nice. Each room is equipped with large LCD screens (for the big rooms) and nice comfy couches.

Their microphones are wacky sometimes, but they'll always come and check it out for you if there is a concern about the constant static. Their song selections are huge, from American to foreign songs, such as Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, and among others.

When it comes to payment, there is always a little confusion. You'd think since we're all Asians, we are good with math, but it always takes us like 10 minutes to get it straighten out. Go figure.

Be sure to bring CASH because they are only allowed to swipe two cards per payment.

I always have a great time whenever I come here. The night is young~

will give 5 if the owners speak better english and the DAMN REMOTE CONTROL IS IN ENGLISH! hell, i felt like i was in korea coz i don't inderstand a damn thing!

otherwise, it's a pretty cool place with hi-tech karaoke machine, with a good selection of songs in korean, english, chinese, vietnamese, and of course INDONESIAN! woohoo! well, the indonesian songs are outdated but it's not too bad. i can only sing the oldies anyways!

price was $55 for 1 1/2 hour for a large room (7 of us) and it was $35 per hour.. not too bad, sang quite a lot of songs to embarass ourselves!

place have this musty smell but after some time it's covered by sweat & body smell. should have better ventilation IMO but it's ok considering the condition compared to 4 years ago when i came here for the 1st time!

good karaoke place without having to go to seattle! oh, u might miss the place easily but if u spot a jap restaurant called AKASAKA, it's right behind it!

After getting your Korean food on, walk over in the same lot to 1st avenue karaoke.

This building used to be a old motel, you rent rooms by the hour, and it is all very modern, disco ball, lights, large flat screen tvs, with huge remotes that you can enter in your song selections.

A great fun night with Korean food and karaoke!
