Spectators Sports Grill

I had a very poor time here while I was visiting my parents in the suburbs one weekend. I was just looking for a place to go to grab a drink, eat a burger, and watch the game. What I find was an ill kept front of house and a sub par dining experience. Low quality beef and processed cheese made it difficult to enjoy the burned in images on the old CRT TVs. The pull tabs aren't ironic, and serve as a reminder of what I like least about suburbs--the ever present need to find any way (even at 10,000 to 1 odds) to get out of here.

A lack of commitment to invest in the quality of entertainment or the food will insure that I won't be coming back any time soon.

The problem with Spectators is nothing really stands out.  The decor, drinks, food, people, staff are all just really average.  Been here twice over the last month, and have never seen more than a dozen people in at any one time.  Guess the slow economy could be to blame, but just seemed like the patrons and staff alike just didn't seem to have any energy.  Kind of like stepping into quicksand, just a very slow vibe to the place...
