I've been here a couple times. It's not too bad. They have a semi-good rotating selection on tap (usually one good micro). They are VERY expensive when it comes to shot specialties. The first time we went there they suggested a jalapeno shot. It looked like the sign said $5 special for that shot, but they charged $8 something A PIECE! That's robbery.
There seemed to be a good group of regulars at this place who liked it there. I have not made it to any entertainment here, but it always seems like they have something going on.
The best point of this business is that the bartenders are the owners, so it makes it a little more special.
My Lady and I went to 2 Sisters to see an old friend sing. Thought it would be a great time out without the kids.
The best part of the night, there were 2, was my friend singing and us leaving to go home. The experience at this establishment was so poor that even 1 star is a gift.
Here is where is all went wrong: we get to the bar and ask the bartender for 2 Stella Artois, she didn't know what they were. So we had to point them out from the lineup of beer bottles they had all lined up. So I just figured a new place, new staff, I could let it slide. The bartender was a very pleasant young woman and even offered us some menus to look at.
I am thinking sports bar, must have great bar food and munchies... oh wait, there is only 1 tv... so it's a "SPORT BAR"!
The menu choices were dismal. 3 entrees - 2 chicken and 1 pasta, 2 burger choices (don't ask for rare or medium rare, the cook informed us that he could only do medium to well! 2 or 3 pizza choices which were priced really low so they must have been personal size pizza's. But no!!! They were frozen disks of disappointment. Now the burger was so thin and over cooked that you can get a better burger at your local Cumberland Farms gas station! Did you know that it's cheaper to make your own homemade pizza's from scratch then it is to buy frozen disks of doom!
Now I did notice that when I ordered a Dewar's on the rocks I saw the bartender poor my drink from a 5th bottle.
Obviously the bar is nowhere near being fully stocked. If you're going to attempt running a bar, you should at least
Have all the basics. <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2FDrinksmixer.com&s=fef6b2a18536962afce51f7cefd618807886454c5e6d32ab58f29f85115984e1" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://Drinksmixer.com</a> has a complete list of essential bar-stock.
The music was great, and walking out the door to leave was fantastic! I have to say that this was the most disappointing experience I have ever had in a bar.
