Jocelyn's Mediterranean Restaurant & Lounge

We went to Jocelyn's for dinner last night.  It was FABULOUS!  The service was outstanding and the waitress gave us lots of suggestions about how to best enjoy the array of appetizers we ordered.  We started with the combo appetizer platter which had grape leaves (both veggie and meat), falafel, baked kibbe, hummus, stuffed cabbage, and tabbouleh.  Everything was so scrumptious and the pita bread was light and fresh.  The hummus is SO MUCH BETTER than anything you could get at the supermarket.  It was creamy and slightly nutty....divine!   I got the Lebanese salad (green salad with feta and an incredible lemon vinaigrette) which was crisp and fresh.  For dinner, I ordered the lamb kebab skewers.  The lamb was tender and flavorful and it was served on homemade buttery rice pilaf, which was yummy, and grilled vegetables were the side.   My dinner companions ordered the baked cod and the mixed grill and were really happy with their meals.

We were too stuffed for dessert.  I will definitely be back and also keep it in mind for takeout.  The high quality of the food, the very reasonable prices, and the excellent service makes this a 5 star rating in my book.

Middle Eastern is hands down in my top for favorite cuisines. I came to Jocelyn's the other night for a party and was pleasantly surprised by everything.

The hummus was delicious and the baba was also, but if you don't like smokiness in your food, pass it up. I loved it. The portions were pretty large as well.

The menu was decent, they have pretty much everything you might want from baked/raw kibbe, grape leaves, stuffed cabbage to shawarma.

I wanted a little of everything so I got the appetizer platter. Either come here starving, share it or take it home and make a few meals of it. Its huge! Mine had grape leaves (meat/rice), cabbage, kibbe, stuffed pepper stuffed zucchini and lima beans with lamb over rice pilaf. While everything was delicious, the zucchini and pepper lacked flavor and needed salt, but everything else was delicious.

If I am in the area again, I would go here for sure!

My hub and I love stopping in here when we crave Mediterranean food!

We usually get the usual platter that has an assortment of grape leaves, stuffed cabbage (we ask for no stuffed peppers, and extra on the cabbage rolls :) ) and then they also have the rice with lima beans and kibbee on the side.
It's fantastic!
We also like to sit in the bar area ... we love conversation with the bartender and employees. Looks like the bar dining area room can be used too as a function room ... I'm sure they would accommodate if anyone asked!
The owner is very nice and is always there (always a good thing!) making sure everyone is enjoying their food. Joceyln is the owner's daughter, and she is a hard worker as well from what we have seen.
I'm craving those stuffed cabbage rolls now!
