4 Olives Wine Bar

My friend and I came to 4 Olives on a Monday night to celebrate selling her horse and were very pleased with our evening. We both started with the bruschetta and were delighted by the sweet kalamata olives on top. We both decided to go out of our comfort zones and try things we never had before; She had the andouille and I had the lamb shank. We both were pleasantly surprised by the flavorful meat and presentation. The risotto with the lamb shank was fantastic and really added to the flavor. After a good meal we decided to have the apple bread pudding. It is both of our favorite desserts so we had high expectations and they were well met! It was a great evening that was quiet and relaxed.

They have THE BEST Filet Mignon. I go there for that and the wines. It is worth every cent. Tonight they played jazz. It is a relaxing place for my husband and I to go on a date. He loves the crab cakes. Thank you 4 olives!!!

In Manhattan, there are very few places that have offer a fine dining experience and this place is one of them.  Staff is very pleasant and offer you their best in your dining.  The bar selection including wine is top notch and the bar tenders are the best in Manhattan when it comes to cocktails that you can only fine in big cities.  They have the largest selection of wine in the state of Kansas.  The menu has a lot to offer.  My date and I ordered Chesapeake Crab Cakes made with blue crab, our main course was the Mango-Peppercorn-Glazed Salmon and Sesame-Crusted Seared Ahi Tuna, everything was great, they also have what types of wine that go well with each food item on the menu to help you choose.  Overall a great experience.  This is a great place that is nice to go on a date too.  The price is fine dining, so expect that.
