  A good place to have a sandwich or salad for lunch. The food and service are both pretty good, especially for a college bar. There aren't many good options in Oxford, but this place is large enough that the waiting time on a busy parent's weekend isn't too terrible.

  It's a college dive bar with not so great food and so so service. It's overpriced but for the area that's expected. I would not recommend this place for anyone over the age of 24. It's catered toward college student and at night turns into your typical collage bar. The floors are sticky and it has that odd old beer smell as well. If you don't like stairs all the restrooms are on the second floor. I would recommend this place for anyone between the age of 18 and 24.

  The new and old 45 salads are big among my friends. The appetizers are also awesome, try the hummus or the cheesy dip! It's so good!

  Slightly embarrassed, but yes, my 26 year old self went drinking & dancing at 45 East the weekend of Miami graduation.  My middle brother demanded that my immediate family of drinking age celebrate his graduation by drinking.  I can't say much about the prices as my dad was paying, but I can say that the drinks were much stronger than others I've had at college bars - or maybe I'm just not as conditioned as I once was...
  
  The dance floor is upstairs & it was packed.  I wish they'd add some windows, fans, or maybe even an outdoor patio on the second floor as it was very hot.

  45 east has a lot of pros and a lot of cons. Their food is so-so and pretty pricey for the quality. The best thing are Monday nights when you can eat a ton of nachos for around 3 dollars.
