The entrance to the restaurant is actually the Jazz Cafe but they are open for lunch  and dinner Tuesday thru Sunday.  This is a newly relocated restaurant from West Covina so service was a little slow and you will have to ask for the condiments to go with your meals.  Met the owners Homer and Homer Jr, they were pleasant and exhibited Big Easy hospitality.
Homer Jr. bought me out a sample of their Gumbo which was seasoned to perfection. Â Their fish platters were huge. Ordered the Combination Platter and it came with 2 types of fish and all the fixin's, Â I was a little disappointed that the catfish poorboy came out with just bread and fried catfish (no sauce, lettuce or tomatoes) but the catfish had excellent flavor. Â If you try them be patient because the restaurant has good bones.
