Tequila Hoppers Bar & Grill

Checked this place out Friday 7/5. Today, looking at my bank account, I realized the bartender added more tip then I gave him. Already given him 18% he decided to add more. I think this is very disrespectful and not professional. So if you decide to hit up this place take cash for tips.

This place is alright considering drinks aren't a bad price but a cover charge of $5, really lol..If you enjoy good music and cheap drinks with a hand full of cholos lol this is the place to be..

Went here with some co-workers on 7/3/13. The night started out okay, but quickly went downhill. We all ordered drinks and some ordered food. After we received our drinks a fight broke out. Some poor lady had a big beer mug thrown at her head and we heard from a fellow patron she had her head split open. I will say that security was on that super fast, which is definitely a plus. Of course, the police and an ambulance came and they were there for a while taking pictures and investigating and stuff. I know this isn't the bar's fault, but it sucked and I felt bad for the lady who got hurt.

One thing that definitely did suck was the service. The server had to come back to our table twice before we even got our drinks. Once to inform us that she messed up and told us the wrong specials and another to tell us that they didn't have the beer my husband ordered.  When the food came out, everyone in my party who ordered food got theirs, but they forgot my chicken strips. I waited patiently thinking they would bring them after a minute or two, but they didn't. Finally, after everyone was almost finished with their food the server came to check on us and I informed her that I didn't get my food. She brought my chicken strips about 10 minutes later and never apologized for the mistake or anything. I understand that she may have forgotten to put in my order or whatever, but a simple "sorry about that" goes a long way.

When we were ready to leave my husband asked the server for the check and we waited about 10-15 minutes for the check and it never came. My husband asked another server for the check and informed her that we had been waiting a while for it. Her response was "Well you didn't ask ME for it!" Ummm....excuse me! No need to be rude about it. We finally got the check and the gratuity was automatically added. Maybe it was because we had 7 people in our party, but IMO they certainly did not deserve that tip.

The only reason why I gave this place two stars is because the DJ was really cool and I liked him. If not for the DJ this night would have been super sucky. Not going here again.

I may as well be considered a regular here. I have celebrated my birthday there twice as well as all of my friends. If we're not celebrating a birthday we are just chilling.

As many of you have mentioned, the service is a hit or miss. There is one "waitress" there who is all around terrible.. not sure her name, I just know her by her terrible Amanda Bynes-esque extensions. AVOID AVOID AVOID her tables at all costs.

There drinks are priced about average for a bar, beware the cut off time for happy hour, there were a couple times where we lost track of time and wound up with a couple hundred dollar bill! Our fault, would of appreciated a heads up for the cut off but oh well.

TV's galore!---need I say more?

When it is a nightclub you can expect an array of music from old school hip hop/R&B to todays current hits mixed decently. If you get there early enough you don't have to pay to get in but really who wants to get there at 4pm??

Make sure you try the buffalo strip nugget things! They are probably swanson brand that you can buy anywhere but with a nice cold beer and a vat of ranch for dipping you are in sport watching heaven!
