The place is nice. Â We were a group of 10 with reservations. Â The seating was nice... actually two tables with plenty of room.. so we weren't crammed at one table. Â Suzy was playing, and she was fun to watch & listen to. Â The music is right on the border of being too loud to have a conversation. Â But I was there to drink & down some fondu so I didn't care. Â
It was a nice change from the normal dinner out. Â Several cheeses to choose from for fondu. Â We did the 'two-dinner" special as a couple. Â It included a pot of your choice of cheese fondu, a meat entre with broth to cook your meat, fruits for dessert with your choice of chocolate fondu, and a bottle of wine. Â They also gave us veggies and bread. Â All in all a great deal for $105.00 I thought. Â We were STUFFED!!! They have a few interesting import beers to choose from. Â Friends had the raspberry beer & it was yummy!!
They included the tip in the bill, which is expected at most places with a group our size. Â What was strange was that the gratuity, instead of the normal 18%... was instead 20%.
There's a $5 cover at the door per person and say that the money goes to the band. Â Then a girl was walking around with a little tip tub, accepting tips for the band... and then they have a minimum per table $$ requirement which I want to say was like $50 per hour. Â We were eating and drinking, and there were 10 of us so it wasn't a problem, but it might be if there is only 1 or 2 of you. Â
The waiter we had was great. Â Very accomodating.
