Karina's Bar

was in ontario visting my cuz we tried to find a local dive bar but found this tj looking shit hole instead. always a good sign if ur getting patted down by  a rent a cop before u even walk threw the door. if u dont shop at walmart or love feeling like ur in an mexican shit hole then this aint the place for u. dont come here please

I was in the area on job-related business for a few days so I'm not familiar with the local establishments. I was craving some Mexican food and beers for dinner but I was tired of all the chain restaurants surrounding the hotel where I was staying so I went out for a ride to see what I might find. I didn't see anything that caught my eye, but I saw this place all lit up and decided to take a break, drink a beer and then continue on with my search.
I walked in and saw that it was a Mexican bar, banda music playing out of the jukebox, people shooting pool, kind of dark, bar stocked with hard liquor and some good looking ladies at the bar. My kind of place even if its not my favorite music, it's not a problem. And off to one side was like a kitchen but it was dark and looked closed.
Anyways had a few beers. Another lady showed up and when I mentioned that I was driving around looking for dinner they offered to open the kitchen and make some tacos!
While the lady was making my tacos a group of musicians walked in and started playing music as a customer sang like a man thats been drinking beers a few hours would sing.
The tacos came and really, they were great. The meat was tender and marinated right. The salsa was picosa but not overdone to where you can't taste the food. Very good! After eating I had a shot of Jack and a couple of more beers. Then some more customers came in, people started dancing, estaba agarrando vuelo, you know. Another patron bought me a shot of something, don't know (or don't remember) why.
Anyways, I liked the place, I bet this place really rocks on weekends. And the mens restroom, damn!!! That was the cleanest restroom at a bar I'd seen in a long time.
I liked the fact that they made the tacos even after the kitchen looked closed. Customer satisfaction is important. Good looking girls behind the bar, cold beer and loud music made me want to stay longer. But, (and here's the reason for the 3 stars) no toilet paper. I had to leave to go look for somewhere else and at that point I wasn't in the mood to drive back.
But I know next time I'm in town I'll stop by again, no need to drive around looking.

Great bar great tacos and they have banda on Sundays bottle service specials all night!
