My friends and I made reservations for 10 people on a Friday night when Unfinished Business was playing. They had a preset menu for that occasion which consisted of four main courses. Â We got there early and hung out at the bar listening to a Hispanic gentleman playing and singing. Â He was real enjoyable and our bartender was Patty. Â She made the drink as I requested and everyone else was happy with her pour. Â Our waitress was Nicole and she did a fabulous job. Â It was not as crowded as I thought it would be for an Unfinished Business night, which buy the way that night was agreed to have no cover charge so we all liked that. Â The food was excellent, no complaints from any of our 10 that turned into 14! We enjoyed the size of the dance floor and of course the band was great as usual. Â The owner walked around and introduced himself and asked if everything was good. Â We all would go back again to an event like this one. Â I think when they have those types of bands on Friday nights they will be competing with the Elk's for music and dancing. Â May want to move those to sat.
Review Source:I went there for lunch with three other people. We really weren't impressed, but we didn't think it was as bad as the other reviews here!
The waitress was covered in tattoos and kind of seedy looking. We almost left because of that! But we stayed.
She raved about the fish tacos so three of us got them. We should have all tried something different. They were just OK, certainly not wonderful like the waitress said. The other girl got a club sandwich, which she also said was just OK. She got some potato chips that the waitress also recommended, and they were soggy and greasy!
So I won't go back if it's my choice. But I'll go if other people want. It's not that it's bad--it's just not good!
Really? Â don't waste your time. Â Backyard/home style bbq served at 3 star prices. Â Maple syrup drizzles over bacon wrapped dates that were burnt? really?
$4 for a f-ing coca cola? Â Don't you folks know what town you're in? this isn't LA.
The owner wandered around drinking Coors light and talking about himself to anyone who would listen. Â Get ready to chalk up another chapter in the failed businesses that have inhabited this spot.
He hosted a charity fund raiser night with live bands that donated their time and effort to raise money for a recently deceased friend's family, and then had the gall to appropriate a large sum of money from the door proceeds "for security costs"....not a good way to make a name for yourself.
I give it a year, tops....unless the Mexican Banda/Norteno nights keep him going..lord knows there;s a lot of money in that scene.
I ate there for lunch on June 7, 2012. When my friend & I walked up to the building, all of the employees were standing outside smoking and looked almost annoyed that they actually had customers. The waitress did not wash her hands before helping us, did not tell us her name, and overall didn't have good service. The food was so-so, I got the french dip, and my friend the breakfast sandwich, we also ordered bacon wrapped dates but they were burnt (They luckily didn't include them on our check). 2 other gentlemen walked in to eat while we were there but that was all between 12-1. Overall a weird experience. I'll also note that the waitress stepped outside for a smoke break while she was still serving us, and didn't appear to wash her hands after that either. On the plus side, it's decorated nice (though our light at the booth had issues) & I think they could do well if they stepped up their service and marketing.
