Truly shocked,
I and the wife eat here regularly as the food is always good. I am not one to return an item to the kitchen as I feel what comes out is the best they can provide. I was disappointed last evening with my Brisket sandwich which has always been the best. Last night there was so much fat in it that I think there was more fat than meat. I noticed this after I ate half of it and thought What's up with this. then I picked apart the other half and said this is horrible. But like I said I did their on-line survey and I am telling you I DO BELIEVE this is an anomaly as the food there as well as the service is A-1. I of course will have to go back and order the exact same thing,(I do that) and if poor the second time I will say something to the manager, I give them 3 stars as being a KCBS Judge the brisket was a 1..... Inedible.. but the rest of the meal super.. We are all allowed off days. I just wish someone in the kitchen was awake.

- The food is good and the atmosphere is fun... with plenty of things on the wall and ceiling. Good for your A.D.D.
- service is spotty. - Service is sometimes good, sometimes HORRIBLE.  When I've complained about food quality or service, the manager will just say 'sorry.'  No discount or 'we will make it again'  Just 'sorry'.  I feel like they got my money and then don't care
- They have partnered with the FrontFlip app, so there is a chance to win food upgrades, drinks, etc. BUT be careful about the Front-flip upgrades. For example waffle fries is an upgrade but you get less fries with the 'upgrade'
- this place is ok for small groups, but if you have over 6 people, you will have a longer wait while they bring 2 tables together.
- No reservations here.

I've been here twice now. The first time was an accident. I was wandering around with my mom on the 4th of July searching for somewhere, anywhere, to get a bite and a drink and every place was closed. So we went in and had some spinach dip and nice, big frozen drinks.They make a giant, frozen mojito. It's served in a fishbowl. It's super.

I visited again this weekend with a friend after some heavy shopping.
The mojito was missing from the menu, but they made me one anyway.
It was divine. It should never disappear from the listings. Friend had a skinny margarita that hit the spot for her.

We also ordered lunch. I tried the fish tacos and was pleasantly surprised again. They were tasty and multilayered. Loved them. Even more surprising to me was that the rice and re-fried beans had more flavor to them than 90% of the Mexican restaurants I've tried.

My friend had a croissant sandwich and salad that were enormous and good. She also won a free dessert on the frontflip app, which was fine. Truly, that part I could take or leave. The little cakelet bordered on dry. But hey, free is good.

The service was friendly and efficient. Despite the fact that this place looks like a thousand other chain restaurants, I will return. Yummy option at Zona Rosa!
