Sometimes referred to as the 'peanut bar' (not to be confused with the one in Reading), Kim and crew are hard at work to keep your drinks coming.  What first appears to be a pretty standard dive bar quickly starts taking on a personality of its own.  The bathroom graffiti is hilarious and I still sometimes get lost reading all the goofy stuff scribbled on the hundreds of dollar bills stapled to the ceiling - even left a few of my own here and there.  But the best part about the ATC is that they really try to think outside the box with their bar food.  Yes, it's bar food - but it's clever, delicious and reasonably priced.  Kim's chili is on the spicy side but on a cold winter night, a toasted cheeseburger sandwich and a bowl of chili is just what the doctor ordered.  The regulars treat each other like family so make friends or enemies - it's up to you.  Only con is that it's still a smoking bar, so leave your coat in the car.

This is Adamstown's neighborhood bar and certainly has got a "local" vibe. Since it was right down the street from my hotel, I visited twice. On my first visit (Monday or Tuesday), the happy hour specials were freaking phenomenal. I didn't eat the food so I can only vouch for the beer. Pretty good selection for a local spot. Friendly bartendress with lots of good tips on things to do in the area.
