Railroad House

If you are from Berks County and have friends and a family, chances are they hang out at the Railroad House on the weekends and in the summers.  Every time I have been to this bar, it has been packed with old acquaintances, friends, parents' friends, even family members.  This can be good for those who want to re-engage with homers they haven't seen in a while, or it can be bad if you are the type who likes to avoid this act.

The bar itself is usually fairly clean and the staff are friendly.  The other positive is how incredibly cheap this place is!  All of the times I have been here, I have felt guilty because of how little I've had to pay for some beers.

The main negative about this bar is definitely the parking lot.  It isn't lighted; if its winter or raining, you are faced with a muddy, rocky, trench-filled walk from your car; and it just has a generally creepy feel to it.  Another negative is how hard it can be to find a seat in this place.  It is really good that RRH is doing well, but it translates to little seating for patrons.

I would recommend this bar for those in the area looking for a cheap drink.

Fun place to go.  Sports are always on and the volume is turned on for the big game.
Food is great and priced fair.
