My co-worker and I had some time to kill, and did not know any better. Â So, we walked to the first hostess stand that we could find and were quickly seated at Aeronuova. Â
For $16, the meal was definitely not a meal, more like a snack. Â There were five squash ravioli on my plate--- no bread, no salad, nothing else was served with this. Â That means that each of the small ravioli were $3.20 each! Â
My co-worker has a $14 salad with chicken, and the chicken was raw inside.
My advice is to check all of the menus and prices posted along the walkway before making your decision and being rushed into a restaurant. Â
Actually, the food at the Food Court is even better!
One is usually skeptical eating at restaurants located in mass transit hubs (my significant other in particular) but they're there to serve the millions of people that pass through... And that they did. Â
In what looked like nothing more than a swanky food hall this place actually wasn't too bad.  A look at the menu and it seemed they did things simple (after all Italian is simple in it's nature).  I started with a caprese salad and was very happy with the freshness of the ingredients, one thing that is a MUST.  Big win there!  I had orrecheitte for my main and was a little disheartened with the quality of the pasta but then thought, OK OK it's an airport restaurant what did you expect?  I asked for some crushed red pepper and the dish was a hundred times better!  I had 15 minutes up my sleeve before my flight so I thought it'd grab the creme brûlée cheesecake... I'm not sure if they make it themselves but damn I'm hooked It was so good I almost asked for another slice!
Service was great, although I did go at what seemed to be an off peak time, and I was happy with 3 courses and a beer under 50. Good work!
