Agave Southwestern Grill

When I walked into Agave, I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and a delicious aroma coming from the kitchen. Unfortunately, from this point on the experience deteriorated.  The service was abhorrent. The menu was boring and the food was bland and overpriced (I am being told by my friends that accompanied me that this review is quite generous).

I worked for Agave on Cinco de Mayo only to have the cops escort me off the property.  As a temp bartender the drinks are "water down" at best and I felt like an ass charging people $10 for a "top shelf" margarita.  I'll probably get paid but the place is a joke.  Safe your money!!!!

Oh Agave. Came here with my parents, forgot my ID and they wouldn't let me drink. I get they are doing their job but it was very annoying. Plus I passed 21 many years ago and I was with my parents. My mom gave me her marg bc it was too sweet for her and ordered another, but the manager was literally staring at me the ENTIRE time we ate through the glass that breaks up the dining room and kitchen to make sure I did not take a sip. Are waiter was very awkward and was lingering as if he was scared to ask us for our order. We got the table side guar which needed more salt, while the chips were sooooo salty I couldn't eat them. You would think oh great they go together something not salty and something really salty but no. The only saving grace was the entree. I got the chicken enchilada which I actually really enjoyed. Will not be going back though. There are other great mexican restaurants in naples.
