I think this is called Jonathan's now?  Have been here twice with my boyfriend's family who live in the burbs, and have had awful food each time.  Wings were completely dry and sauces were clearly all from a bottle containing tons of sugar and dye. The bang bang shrimp (although clearly a rip off Bonefish Grill), had potential, but were soggy and overdone.  The waitress was clearly over sat, so service was very rough.  The menu reminds me of something that would have been mediocre in the late 90's.  The only plus is the decent drink specials.  .

See my review for Jonathans of Bellevue. This place seems to change their name every month but it remains the same LAME place. As I said before, it has so much potential but it's just lousy. TVs are old and not worth watching. I just feel like I'm in a room of creepy old guys when I'm there.

I would give 4 stars, but they did away with their ongoing 2-for-1 draft beer special. The beer costs the same, but now you only get one (unless it's one of the two featured beers of the month). It's sort of an anti-stimulus.

There are not many watering holes in Bellevue that I enjoy going to, but A.J.'s (they just changed the name back to Jonathan's again...) is on my short list. The food isn't amazing, but it's dependable and tasty. The servers are friendly and efficient, and one can always find the game one is looking on at least one of a bazillion T.V.s throughout the bar area.

You have to try the Horseshoe. I'm originally from Springfield, IL, which used to be the only place in the world a person could find this wonderful dish. A.J.'s/Jonathan's version is not quite as good as the standard back home (they use nacho/queso cheese instead of the traditional welsh rarebit sauce), but it's the next best thing when you're 6 hours away from home. You have to try it the traditional way (with hamburger for the meat), but substituting Buffalo chicken is a good choice if you want something spicier.

They have some interesting karaoke on Saturday nights, and it can be packed most weekends. It's a real blast, if you can make it. They also have your standard Nashville fare singer/guitar player playing cover songs occasionally.
