Alboe's

I've had a lot of Italian Beef/Combo in my life and let me just tell everyone that Alboes has one of the very best...These folks bake and slice their own with shaved garlic and other seasonings in the meat when its baked..The gravy is delicious so get yours dipped...Excellent Giardina too...Home cut fries where made crispy just like I requested...In fact I won't go anywhere but here when I get a taste for a Combo!!!! Oh yes the portion is about foot long too!!  Ya gotta try them out..You'll be hooked!

Had chicken Parm and breaded steak sandwich both delicious. Minestrone was a little different than I expected. The only problem I have is the layout which I believe wasn't taken into consideration. I walked in and the overpowering smell of grease from the kitchen slaps you in the face as soon as you walk in the door. They didn't tell us right away that there is a "eating" area in the back. The quotes for eating is because it isn't a dining area. The staff is very friendly but they need either a better exhaust system, close off the kitchen or just completely put it out of view. Good food though. I hope this place lasts.

If i could have I would have rated this place 3.5 stars.  This is a newly opened place and I realize they have to work out some of the kinks.  First off I had the chicken parm sandwich and it was outstanding. Large fresh and hot, good bread and sauce with a very tender chicken breast. The guys were really talking up the home cut fries, which i usually love. Sorry guys but these didn't hit the mark, they were burnt tasting for some reason, either the oil was old or because of the way the fries are cut, (short and fat) they have to cook longer to get the inside completely done. Because we were talking so much they forgot my hot peppers, which  was disappointing but not a deal breaker. Once these guys work out some minor new business issues I think this place will be a good spot for fast food. Before I was able to post this review I went back and tried the eggplant parm, very good favor but they need to skin the eggplant.  The skin made it very difficult to bite through.
