Agree with all the reviews, this place is a great little find!  Combo plate is very good.  I always get pulled pork, sausage and brisket.  If there has been any hiccups, one time out of 5 the brisket was overly fatty...  I'll give them the benefit of the doubt because we did come in very close to closing that time and I am from TX so have been lucky to have world class brisket in the past :-)  It definitely won't keep my from coming back!

What a great find just a few minutes from Quartz Mountain Lodge!  Don't get it wrong - this a quick shop.  We ate next to the motor oil and rack of candy bars, but the food was great!  BBQ and burgers were both yummy.  This isn't health cuisine, but its tasty.

Well, my profile says I am from Altus, OK, but that is just where I (have to) live right now.  Altus is a sad state of affairs in almost all ways, with the culinary scene being no exception.

So All American is my go to place.  We like to joke that there is a list of tolerable restaurants here and it is common to hear, "Is it on the list?"  My list is very, very short since The Pantry closed.  I will go to All American which is in Blair so technically not even in Altus and I will go to Pick Up Taco.  I also like the coffee from Confectionately Yours (plus I like to go there in the afternoon - you can meet a lot of nice people and learn a lot about what is going on in town by having an afternoon coffee here).  But I digress.

As stated, All American is one of just two restaurants in which I will eat in this area.  It is in a gas station and that is part of the charm.  The BBQ is fantastic and the Becky Burger (swiss cheese, mushrooms, jalapenos - oh my!) is a greasy bomb of deliciousness.  The owner is wonderful and incredibly genuine.  He is there every time we go and always wants to make sure our food is good and we are being taken care of.

The clientele seems to be very local - lots of farmers, oil and construction workers.  Again, part of the charm and the people are friendly and kind.  Two thumbs up for All American!

    It's a gas station.  It's a convenience store.  No! It's a restaurant!

You'll find lots of farmers, construction folks, oil workers, and the like here.  People are local, friendly, and the food is greasy and good.  You don't come to a place like this for health, you come for ambiance and tasty grub. And that's what you'll get.

We both got some type of cheeseburger (some of the best greasy burgers we've had in a while), some onion rings, and some okra.   YUM!

My family and I decided on visiting Quartz Mountain Lodge for our family lake trip this year. We wandered into Blair OK for some grub and tried out this Pit Stop/Diner thanks to a tip from a local. We all ordered BBQ.... and loved it so much we ended up going back 3 times!

Pulled Pork Sandwich with Curly Fries and Baked Beans : This is what I ordered on my first visit.. I enjoyed it so much, I ordered it again my second visit. BEST pulled pork I've ever had. Very tender and piled high on a toasted bun. The bbq sauce was perfect, just enough sweetness like I like it. Curly fries were great, tasted like the fries at Arby's. The baked beans were great. Thick, sweet, and savory from bacon chunks.

Pancake, Scrambled Eggs, and Bacon Breakfast : Pancakes has wonderful flavor! Try it dry before smothering it with butter and syrup first. Eggs were decent. Bacon - perfectly cooked and rather salty like I like it.

The service was decent for all the meals. Down to earth atmosphere. It's fun watching the cowboy locals. I actually liked the bustle of it being in a gas station as well.

Only downside.. One of the workers there, in cowboy get up and everything, went around swatting flies during one of our visits. Though I appreciate the decreasing number of flies (there were a lot from the many visitors) It was a little hard to stomach while eating.

Over all.. BEST BBQ I've ever encountered. Salute to this little OK dive.

I'm not much of a meat eater so, opening the All- American menu, I felt the familiar pang of disappointment that happens when I know that I'm going to have to eat meat. So, I ordered the All- American burger, with mustard, and a side of fries. From the kindest, most detail- oriented server.

The burger was great: hand- formed, thick, juicy, and best of all, a perfectly cooked medium. The fries were crispy, and long. Maybe even hand- cut? And the pies...oh goodness...the pies! and cobbler. So good, they run out most evenings! Get some dessert!

And what else? oh...you know...every candy ever made, beer, snacks..

Best barbeque in the southwest!! My friend at Altus Air Force Base told me they drive to Blair (about 10 miles) at least once a week to indulge in the great food. I tried it out for myself and was not disappointed. Cook/chef arrives at 3 a.m. to spend hours slow-cooking the meat, daily. Brisket, pulled pork, chili cheese fries (the order is huge), and ribs are to-die-for! They also have burgers, pizza, and amazing sides.

For a convenience store, they have good pies and great barbeque.
