Decent food, but nothing really special about the place that makes it stand out to me. Just your average bar and grill type place. As others have mentioned, there is an abundance of TVs so it's great for watching sports games.

This is a good local place to have a beer and a fried fish sandwich along with TVs to watch the game.  Very nice staff though maybe a bit disinterested.  A good selection of drafts and really can't beat the fish sandwich.  Every time I go this is what I get so I can't vouch for anything else

I went here frequently when it first opened.  Multiple groups and I would go in and stay for multiple hours during happy hours or Penguin games.  Throughout all of my visits I/we experienced similar issues...

    1.  Bartenders...Yikes!  We went in at least once a week...Bordering on a regular.  To say they were beyond unpleasant would be the understatement of the century!  Really acted like they couldn't be bothered.  We even asked a new waitress about the reputation of the bartenders and she confirmed it.

    2. Food.  Had OK experiences.  If we went in during the week, we had a better shot at an OK meal.  Fries undercooked, wings, overcooked.  Often times it was the same issues of hit or miss throughout.

The restaurant itself wasn't bad.  Plenty of TVs. OK location, but the food and service left a lot to be desired.  I am a very low maintenance customer.  If my drink/beer is empty fill it up.  I frequent a lot of dive bars so I am not expecting Morton's quality but I don't want be ignored or have lousy bar food.  This place needs an overhaul in customer service and I wont be back!

I went here for a after work beer and was impressed.  They have Yeungling on tap and it tasted great.  All I ordered was beer, so I can not review the food.  TV in the bathroom with the current sports page is a good touch.

Came here on Monday night of week 2 of the NFL season and it was practically empty. I asked the bartender if was always empty on Monday during the football season and she didn't know, she just started the week before and said it was also dead for week 1. Not a good sign for a sports bar (keep in mind that the baseball pennant races are still in full swing too).

On the plus side, the place is cheap. And the wings were really good, they were cooked to order (but I can't be sure if that is always the case). The rueben sucked and so did the fries.

I don't know about you but I like my sports bar to have other customers. I won't be back here, and based on the lack of business I doubt it will last much longer.

Tons of TVs. 15 beers on tap and numerous in bottles available as well.

Menu is typical Sports Bar selection including nachos and wings.

***Nachos sucked.*** It's no wonder they were half priced.

Good classic rock playing all night.

    1. TV's in the booths
    2. TV's all over the walls
    3. TV's for all

If you don't know about this place, you should if you live near Robinson and like sports.  And yes this is Pittsburgh so everyone loves sports, so that mean EVERYONE in Robinson should know about All Star's! This sport's restaurant and bar is located tucked away on the Robinson Mall center.

First things first, everyone that has been to a true sport's bar knows a "true sport's bar" the minute they enter.  The place is just designed to optimally enjoy watching competition in all its forms from football to ping pong (table tennis to you avid Pongers).  I remember the minute I entered this place for the first time, I was struck by how many televisions they had but still having the space to cram in projector screen.  Then, my neck broke as I saw that they had booths with their own individual television screens.  Speakers were pumping sound into the room of the Penguin's season opener. Basically at this point, this was as good as any ESPN Zone.  And I also took notice to their decor; they had the room lined with every NFL helmet, except the Chargers (I don't know why but it was a little upsetting being from SD)

Well, the final test for this place was the food and the service.  Both were great.  Let me recommend their spinach dip-extra tomatoes.  I was never a spinach dip fan until I came here.

If you are in the area and want to go somewhere fun, All Star's is your bar.
