If I could give no stars I would. When we showed up no one seemed to be concerned about seating us. The bartender just said, "I guess just pick a table." Â After 5 minutes a waitress came by and asked, "Drinks or dinner." Â When we told her we wanted dinner she looked disappointed and walked off to get menus...or so we thought. She went to a table a few down from us and proceeded to have a long, personal conversation. Â After a 5 minute talk, she came back and literally tossed a few menus at us. That was the last we saw of her. The bartender came out about 10 minutes later and asked if waitress had come by. I told him that she literally tossed us the menus and left and that we haven't seen her since. His response was, "Ok, so she did come by." Â Five minutes after that we left. The table next to us seemed to be having similar problems, too. Â This place wasn't busy at all, just clueless when it comes to customer service.
If the service is any indication of the food, avoid at all costs.
Been here several times on past visits. Â This trip was a bit off. Â My first venture in I sat in outside area, where one other family was seated. Â They appeared to be finishing up, empty glasses, a few scattered plates. Â I sat for a while waiting on someone to take my order. Â After maybe 15 minutes, I heard someone in the other party say "we should have gone somewhere else". Â About that time, a dude showed up with some food for them, so I figured out they had been waiting a long time AFTER ordering for food. Â The dude looked at me and headed back inside, not asking if I had been helped, needed a drink, food or whatever. Â I took this as my cue to leave.
Later that day, part of my traveling party ended up there for happy hour, snacks. Â They requested my presence. Â I said nothing about my previous experience, and when I got there, they were sitting outside, telling me how rude the bartender had been to them. Â After a while, he came outside and asked if anyone needed anything else, and we asked him to light the heater as it was chilly since they had a canopy blocking the sun. Â He said something "smart" about how it would eventually get done and walked off.
Fortunately, a waitress came on to work about that time and visited us. Â She was most helpful, and we ended up with over $100 in drinks and appetizers (even with "happy hour" half price drinks).
We really like the atmosphere, and the food, and the drinks are good too, but some folks just seem to take their problems out on customers, which is not good. Â Another customer leaving the bar when we left confirmed this guy was always that way with people.
