  I have a previous review of an Applebee's in NJ.  I had developed a great disdain for this chain as they always seemed to screw things up and the food left a great deal to be desired.  But recent events had lead me to visit the Vero Beach establishment.  I was pleasantly surprised with the new menu.  Prices were about average and though it may be picky of me the server seemed overwhelmed with our party of 10.  All in all  I was happy and will be returning again.

  Millicent was our server.  This place has improved compared to other reviews.  It was very busy but our party of five was seated in less than ten minutes.  Our server was especially helpful and accomodated my wife and I with three small children.  I would return.

  I hate the fact that I even have to give this place one star. This place

  We arrived at 9:50pm on a Sunday night and were seated right away. About 10 minutes later a server came by to tell us our server was busy (there were only 5 other tables seated) and he took our drink order. After waiting for ten minutes, we left. The manager didn't even apologize when we told him why we were leaving. This is an Applebees to avoid at all costs.

  Ate here about 9:30 pm on a Saturday night. Food was not good. My wifes tilapia was cold. Server was poor at best. Half the tables in the restaurant dirty. Applebees is usually OK but this particular one should be avoided
