After a disaster at the local Chili's, we went to Applebee's  Service was good, food was OK and the prices are reasonable. The only problem was cleanness. Table and chairs/booth had a sticky film on it. This ressturant is "tight" I mean I fill like people are stepping over each other.  The tables are so close that I could baring hear my family talking at my table because of the table behind me that was so close.

I loved this place the 3 times I've been. They remembered us, were so friendly and the food was good. Our last visit there was a bit of a hiccup with our order but it was nothing that upset us yet the manager and waitress both apologized and gave us a discount. We were warned that they have a 21 & older karaoke but it's not until later and I think it's awesome that they found a way to get booming business when many places are struggling. I always get the shrimp & steak, onion soup and the peach sangria. Oh how I love it!

The most hood restaurant I have ever been to in my life.  This location is THE WORST by far of any Applebee's I have ever been to.  After about 10 o'clock the crowd can be a little rough so I would suggest ordering take-out if you can get them to answer the telephone to actually place the order.

I attempted to place a call in to-go order several times before I just gave up.  The first time I called the phone rang for over 2 minutes and no one ever bothered to pick up the phone.  The second time I called someone picked up the phone then immediately hung it up.  The third time I called again it rang and rang for over 2 minutes.

Not even 2 for $20 is worth putting up with Applebee's antics.  The crowd is suspect, the service is sketchy and the food is just O.K.  I'd rather go to a fast food restaurant before going back to this location.

When did Applebee's become a nightclub? The loud hip hop/top 40 music seems out of place for the daytime crowd that is older and mostly 30+ years in age. I thought Applebee's was a family friendly restaurant and not a 20 something club.

The food is basic and uninspiring and the bartender behind the bar is so busy that you have to flag him to get his attention.

This is without a doubt the worst Applebee's I have ever been to.

It's nothing fantastic and probably nothing you haven't tried before! Hubs and I went here for Veteran's Day since he is military and received a free meal. So I do like the fact that Applebees honors the military and vets.
I had my favorite meal from here, the fried chicken salad. It was fresh and yummy. I also tried one of my hubby's shrimp which was great. Breaded and fried so def not healthy, but it had good flavor.
The service was good for how busy the place was. We sat at the bar and were served quickly and had fast service the whole time.

Super busy and parking was a hassle, which can be a good thing when it comes to a restaurant. I ordered pasta and my company ordered wings. The most random part of the night was that the celery with the wings was cut super thin. The service was nice although I wasn't a big fan of the waitress smashing whatever bug was bothering the table behind us. I'm just going to assume it was a fly and keep moving. The food was okay but overly salty. No plans to return to this location in the future.

I though this place was pretty ghetto because they had a bunch of people outside begging for money but inside the staff is incredibly nice and friendly. They give you updates on food and drink orders.

    Fiesta Chicken Chopped Salad
Chopped lettuce tossed with black bean corn salsa, roasted red peppers & onions, tortilla strips, white cheddar and spicy jalapeño dressing, mounded nicely with chimichurri-glazed grilled chicken.

It was Good! But I found a HUGE lettuce "butt" as my friends called it, was in my salad. I'm talking 3x4inches here, not a tiny clump. It was probably 1/4 of my salad.

The $3 mixed drinks were eh, but that's to be expected. Pomegranate Iced Tea, Mmm!

To sum this place up in a few words would be absolutely horrible. Where do i begin with the horrible service? My husband and I are new to the area but an applebees is a common restaurant where we are from, so what we expected from a place like this was an average meal with a few beers. However; this place was nothing what we were use to. We entered the place to see it already looked sketchy my husband suggested we go somewhere else but I insisted on just staying, why dont ask me. We waited to be seated for only a few moments and were seated in a nonbusy section to start. The waitress came over greeted us in a normal fashion and brought us over the two beers we ordered. We put in our appetizer before ordering and that came out very quickly which was great because we were starving. We finished the app. and waited approximately 25 mins for our meal to come out. We ordered nothing special and people behind us, which remind you they came after us, got there meal for a table of four. I was starting to grow irratated. The server came back around and got my husband another drink  as we still had no explanation of why our food was taking so long. We waited some more and finally our food came, and it was overcooked and we could tell that it was sitting in the window for a long period of time. Our server never came and checked to see how the meal was. Seeing how the food was overcooked and my husband found a hair that looked like it was from someones beard in the meal we quickly were turned off. Finally a manager came over and did apologize for the wait and voided our entrees, he asked if he could do anything else to make the dinner any better, i asked for another beer since mine was never refilled or was asked if i wanted something else to drink, but i never recieved a drink after that. We got our bill and the food was taken off but i was charged for beers that I never even got. In the end i promise you I will never return to that applebees again for their poor service. Lets be real theres better restuarants in the area to go to anyways.

Imagine my dismay to discover I was scheduled to work until close on Valentines day-- So the significant other and I decided to catch a movie and eat out a few nights early. The significant other had never been to Applebees, and it was close to the theater, so I was up for going.

When we walked in the place was busy. I could tell the staff was trying to keep up with the demand- as no one was just standing around. I think they may have been a little short handed, as the hostess was also acting as a waitress. She walked by us as we entered and told us she'd be right back to seat us. She returned with in less the two minutes and sat us.

Our server Lemarc was at our table in under five minutes with menus and asking what he could get us for drinks. Upon being informed that I am DEATHLY allergic to black pepper, he began to make this an experience I won't soon forget. He was very attentive with my food and even made several trips to the kitchen cheerfully to find out what could be made for me to eat. He followed my food from the start making sure it had no contact with pepper what so ever.

I had the Oriental Chicken salad (with grilled chicken substituted out for the fried- since the breading had pepper in it.) The salad was fantastic!! The portion was large enough that I had spare to take home and he was more then willing to package some dressing into sauce cups so I would have some extra to take with me.

My significant other and I opted to share a dessert, (Triple Chocolate Meltdown!) and he dressed the plate up very nicely for us. The cake was sinfully good!!!

On the edible side, the only disappointment was the Martini's. While the proportions are great for the price, the drinks were not very flavorful. My pomegranate martini (he ordered a raspberry martini) was by far the worse of the two.

I was so pleased with Lemarc I asked to speak with his manager, (who was very unimpressive, underwhelming, and not at all as enthused as he should have been to see his worker get such a glowing review) to tell him how impressed we were with him.

We will go back, and we will call ahead to make sure we get the same server again. I definitely recommend the combination of Applebees and Lemarc to those in the area!!

Alright, in one word I can sum up the Applebees in Hampton: sketchy. This place is packed at night and it tends to be a rather rough crowd. I'm not sure how this restaurant has been turned into a late night club-esque bar but it seems to have happened at this location. Thursday night I was driving by at 11:30pm and this place was absolutely packed with a ton of cars in the parking lot.

If you're in the area I would honestly say you should probably avoid this place, there are much nice restaurants in the area and even better Applebees locations around as well. They still have all the specials that the other Applebees have such as the 2 for $20 and drinks specials but it's just not worth the overall creepy feeling you will most likely have while dining inside.

I've never tried Applebees will never try again. The food is just so basic nothing out of the ordinary. The service was good and quick. That was pretty much it.
