My husband and I went for dinner with our three children, while the wait wasn't long for a Saturday night, the hostess gave us only one childs menu- so we asked for two more, she said of course and said she'd be right back. Nearly 10 minutes later, no hostess, and the waitress shows up and asks us our drink order. We tell her, but also let her know we're still waiting on two more kids menus from the hostess. She then rudely pointed to the one we had and said with attitude "You already have one." I replied, "Yes, but we have THREE young children who would like to color, not one." She scoffed and walked off, grabbed two menus, dropped them on our table, said "Here." and walked away. Thus started the night and rude, inattentive, slow service. I believe our waitresses name was Shelly, but other servers who helped us out in her absence while she seemed to disappear often, were friendlier. Maybe we just got the bad apple. The food was alright, not the best, but not terrible. It was the service that really deterred us from this Applebees. We go to Lexington once a year on a trip, but we won't be going back to this restaurant to eat!

This Applebees was ok. Not as bad as other people are saying. Food is avg and service is mediocre at best.

Not a good applebees. Service was ok but th food was subpar. I like many things fom appleebees and every item ordered by our party was not great. Most times applebees is what you expect but not this one. Keep driving

In attentive service, the table we sat at was sticky, the silverware dirty... There was really no redeeming feature...

I must've been lucky with my experience here as I thought it was nice. Well, as nice as an Applebee's can be, anyway. It was late and we wanted to go somewhere where we could just walk from the hotel.

The service was wonderful, our server was awesome. She was very friendly and gave us all the time we needed to look at the menu (it'd been a long day and a long time since we'd been to an Applebee's). Plus the person I was with majorly changed something on the menu and it wasn't a problem at all.

The food came out hot and nothing tasted like it'd been reheated or anything. For late night when there's few options around, this was my best bet.

I haven't been to an applebee in nearly 10yrs and wouldn't have gone to this one either if it hadn't been close to midnight and within walking distance from our hotel.

Considering the closing time, we just got appetizers and drinks. Â The waitress got our drinks order wrong. Â But, we didn't mind that late into the night. Â We were just lucky that we got to order something.
The food was way too salty.
Being that we were one of two groups there at the time, service could have been speedier. Â And food being that it was reheated frozen stuff, could have come out faster as well.
Compared to other local joints, this place definitely seemed over priced. Which isn't their fault necessarily cause its a chain.

So, as per other reviewers, if you can find another place to hit up, some local businesses, DO THAT. you'll be pleased.
