This is sadly one of the few places in this half-horse town that's open past 10. Â If you can, avoid it.
We had a party of five go in at midnight and our orders came out slow and all the food looked grey. Â As far as the taste went, it was grey as well. Â One entree tasted like cardboard and salt sauce, and it was sent back. Â We received some mild attitude for this also. Â One drink was mixed with Dr. Pepper instead of Coke, and the replacement came back with a slimy glass.
Honestly, you'll get better quality food from Sheetz or even Wal-Mart. Â AVOID THIS APPLEBEE'S!!! Â I honestly believe this is one of the worst ones in their portfolio.
I would never even end up in an Applebees, except I rolled into town on an overnight stay pretty late, and it was the only place open serving food & beer. I ordered a Sam Adams Noble Pils (kudos for having one drinkable beer in tap, I guess), but the shrimp roll-up was not available. Something like "dude, we are out of the fried shrimp, but we can make you one with grilled shrimp!" -- umm, I guess the shrimp come prepackaged or something?? The spicy sauce it came in made it a sloppy, disgusting mess whereby the wrap turned into a nasty dough, and I didn't even finish the thing.
I guess I knew what to expect from an Applebees, but anyway...
