Oh my goodness was this good tonight. We are stopping over for the night and all wanted Chinese food and this is where we ended up. The hot and sour soup was so good I ordered another bowl and then a quart to go. I will say that the popular dishes were prepared a bit different than other Chinese Restaurants but they were delicious. Veggies in the General Tsao... never have seen that before but it was delicious nonetheless. Shrimp fried rice... let me tell you about that... not your typical dinky "salad" shrimp, good sized medium shrimp and a lot of them and the dish is enough for two if you have an appetizer and a soup. The sesame chicken (some pieces) was kind of chalky in texture but still good. The pineapple pork was different and quite tasty to boot. The service was extremely good considering it was a full house, never had to ask for drink refills. The only bad thing... not enough parking... we had to wait for someone to leave to get a parking spot, but no big deal, people were coming and going at steady pace so didn't wait too long.

Blech. We had a long day of travel and wanted something familiar and comforting...and Chinese sounded perfect.  We ordered Crab Rangoon, Mongolian Beef, and General Tso's Chicken from the road and picked it up on the way to our hotel.

What a major disappointment. We weren't even sure we had the right order since neither main dish looked like anything we'd ever seen. The Mongolian Beef had cabbage and tomatoes in an orange broth (it wasn't thick enough to even be called a sauce)--see photo. The General's Chicken had peapods, carrots, bamboo shoots, and water chestnuts. WHAT?!?! Mongolian Beef and General Tso's Chicken are hard to screw up, but they did.

Had we not both been exhausted from 12 hours on the road (with two kids under four) we would have taken it back...but it was at least edible, even if it was screwed up.

I'd definitely avoid this place for take-out unless you've been there and know what you're getting.

Most awful Chinese food I've ever had! The service was not very good either.
