  Went here the other night with a friend who wanted to check it out. Was very impressed! The crowd was friendly, the atmosphere was pretty good and the drinks were fabulous! The mixed drinks were hand poured and very strong! It's not very big, but it was definitely welcoming. A nice mix of younger, older, etc.  I definitely am looking forward to coming back here again!

  A nice little gay bar in Columbia. Not big, but it's nice to meet people in. Cheap drinks for a gay bar and no nonsense. Not the best, but good.

  The Arch and Column Pub is a great time for all.  Really inexpensive (but strong) drinks and lots of fun.  It's kinda like the neighborhood "Cheers" bar because every seems to know your name, but its great.  Karaoke on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday starts at 10, and there is a dance party one night a month. You should really visit.

  The Arch and Column (or the A&C as everyone calls it) is a small bar serving a mostly gay clientle (it is welcoming to everyone).  They have karaoke on Wednesday and Saturday nights and cheap drinks every night.  There is a large outdoor patio in back for the smokers (oh, smoking ban, you ruin all the fun).  The bartenders are always attentive, very sweet and welcoming.  I really love the karaoke nights because the crowd is a forgiving and fun group.  The wonderful bar owners are very supportive of the community and host a lot of events at the bar to help raise money for LGBT groups in town.  The A&C is probably not for everyone, but its eccentricities make it special.  It always makes me feel like I walked into Cheers whenever I step into the bar.
