Ashoka India's Bistro

Their Chicken Tikka is pretty good. Staff was very polite and they're always there if you need anything. I'd definitely recommend this place!

I went for the lunch buffet. The tandoori chicken was hot and tasted good. So was the naan that was delivered to the table. But the other items were not hot at all. Especially the  snack items(bonda, pakora, chicken 65), if they are cold, they don't taste good at all. There was only bones in the goat curry. The chicken biriyani was not restocked.
Also, naan was not served again nor was able at the buffet zone. The deserts were no good too.
The service was also mediocre as it took a long time for them to refill drinking water.

Overall, it was not great for the price and would not return.

Been here twice now, once for lunch buffet, another time for dinner. The decor and layout is similar to Iravat (I think they might be owned by the same family) The menu has a nice selection of vegetarian and meat based dishes. The buffet choices were a little sparse the day that I visited, but there were plenty of people eating and I saw the staff refilling it on a consistent basis.

The tandoori chicken had a great flavor, and the goat curry was nicely seasoned. Chicken tikka masala on a different visit was okay, but lacked some heat, even when ordered medium spicy. Naan was good, if not particularly fantastic. Service was fine, water was refilled, and we were checked on a few times without being intruded on. Ashoka, it's not great, but it's not bad either.
