Wild and fun !!!! I like the laid back atmosphere. When going downtown -nothing but heels and cocktail dresses are excepted. At the House of Babes though - Hoochie gear is OK!

They have great shot specials and the bar at the back of the place makes waiting in lines for drinks, less of a hassle. Plus you know people are having a great time when you see chicks hanging their bras from the ceiling!!!

I like the crowd very upbeat and energetic. You wont see a bunch of yuppie fakes standing around sipping martini's here! Let your hair down and have a good time ladies!!! shhhhesh

House of Babes? House of Horrors at best. My BF found these great reviews online and we decided to check it out for dancing. This huge, black bouncer had my guy assume the position while he padded him down. I looked shocked and said, "Scott, he's NOT padding me down." The bouncer said, "Don't worry, they'll take care of you on the inside." We entered at our own risk.

Wife beaters may be the dress code for both the men and women. The weight minimum for the gals is 200. Back up beeper systems everywhere, although I did not hear them. This is only because it was free beer for the ladies night. They were not going to bust a move on the dance floor when they could remain stationery and chug free Budweiser from plastic cups.

My guy thought it would be fun to mess around and monopolize the floor. I wisely decided against it out of fear we would be followed to our car by the thugs that dominated the club. One free beer was enough for me and we got the flock out.

If you insist on checking this place out for the culturally devoid experience, at least bring mace or a bodyguard of your own.

WOW!  So many things that are funny about this place!!  
First of all, the name is decieving.  There wasn't a "Babe" in sight.  Unless your type is the typical north side, 200lbs.  ghetto girl, with 5 kids and 4 "Baby daddy's" at home.  You'll hear alot of "I know huh's" around these parts, thats for sure!  Brush up on your latina/o talk to get you around here safely.
If you enjoy the occasional fist fight, stab wound and bullet holes, youre in the right place!
