Bagel Me!

I was excited to go here since it had been years since I have had Bagel Me! I used to always go to the Bagel Me in the Old Towne Orange Circle.  This was my first time at the Villa Park location.  Service was not so good.  I had asked for a Blueberry Bagel with butter and the employee gave me a Blueberry muffin.  I kindly said, "Oh.  I'm sorry but I asked for the Blueberry bagel."  She went on to say that I was wrong and had said muffin.  She seemed annoyed for her own mistake.  And even if it was my mistake and I had said muffin, I just really felt like she was trying to start an argument that I would not even get into.  Next, as I had been waiting for my food and iced coffee I noticed a bunch of posts on a wall.  It was all emails, quotes, cartoons, etc. that pertained to politics... One in particular gun control laws.  Seemed that the owners of this place love, love, love their guns!  I am not anti-gun at all, but I am definitely for heavy gun control laws.  Obviously this owner loves to express their political stances to their customers.  I understand that the business's location is in a predominantly conservative community but if I were a business owner, I think I would refrain from putting political posts on my walls.  Every customer is a valuable customer, and being blunt about your political stance can definitely turn some customers away.  I was quite uncomfortable, not to mention offended, seeing the political posts on the wall.  Obviously I don't have a desire to support this business at all with them being so blunt about their political stance.  This Bagel Me deserves the second star only because the food was good... Nothing amazing but good.

Worst place ever. They took more than 30 minutes. When I asked for my money back they didn't want to give it. They claimed there were a lot of tickets in front of mine and that's why it took so long. There was no one. Six lazy ass employees and they couldn't toast two lousy bagels. Never again.

Also, if you think this is just a ranting customer note, that the TWO (not many) people in front of me were also waiting more than 20 minutes for one or two bagels.  These people are just awful and rude.....OH and one of the unlovely ladies was digging around in the food for customers looking for something to eat. pig

get the breakfast egg, bacon and cheese bagel, its the best.
