Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar

Came here for humpday last week & loved it! The drinks were awesome & the outdoor fireplace is romantic. Very cool bar in the heart of Anaheim inside the Disneyland resort. Definitely coming back.

I really don't like bashing anything disney but I've been here a few times, given it many opportunities to wow me and it always falls on it's face. Like everyone else has said the inside is super small, and I have never had the opportunity to sit in the bar, because it is really really dark inside. I have sat inside at a table and it felt weird. Having said that I have sat outside many times and the service sucks. It is not a place to stop by really quick and grab a drink. Sit back and wait for the long haul because drinks and heaven forbid food takes forever.

The Good: It is inside the disney resort and they have FANTASTIC drinks, I think I have hit every menu item and they are all great. The food for the most part is really tasty and can cover most dietary restrictions.

The Bad: Non attentive servers. I understand they have a long way to run from outside to the well, I get it, but it can't be that bad. The food comes from the other side of the building for Pete's sake, but in the end tables aren't getting enough attention. One time we ordered fries, they came out cold and when we asked to send them back I thought the servers eyes were going to fly out of his head because he rolled them so hard.

The Ugly: All in all it is a clown show, the management staff just seems to be roaming with no cause, the servers are over tired and running all over the place.

The Result: I have passed on drinks here, unless there is almost no one outside I will pass by and go somewhere different. Yes the theme is great, yes the drinks are great, and when you wanna sit outside and listen to the ukelele player and get some drinks, fine. I just hate being at a bar or restaurant and having an empty drink and a pissed off waiter. Will I be back? Yeah. Will I be excited? No. I am gonna try and sit at the bar and see if I can keep my whistle wet there...

Disneyland's greatest hidden gem. Amazing ambiance coupled with great food and drinks is the perfect combo. Thanks Disney!
