Bahama Breeze is a great place to feel like you're on vacation, even if you're on your lunch break. They have a lunch menu with great combos and deals. There are plenty of different options for seating, inside in the A/C, outside in the shade or out under the sun on the water. It's a great escape without heading all the way out to the coast.

Great service, great food, can't complain about one thing.  Had the jerk chicken bow tie pasta with mushrooms and asparagus and it was amazing!  The best drinks ever here too!  Caribbean Sin was delish!  Will definitely dine here again if back in town!

Why did my family take us here on a Friday night? Parking is a nightmare! It also took longer than 40min (given estimated time) for my family of four plus a service dog to be seated - yet there were smaller groups that were seated before us that came later. They all couldn't have been reservations or call ahead, that's for sure. Bad first impression, but it got better from here.

Service was spectacular. Zonia, our waitress, presented a great introduction and was knowledgeable about the menu. Attentive to our needs, and accommodated my pineapple allergen when I realized they were in my fruit salad - she was really nice about it.

The food was excellent. I tasted the beef empanadas, fish tacos, and the chocolate island. Drink wise, I loved their lemon breeze.

So besides some possible sketchy favoritism among customers, the restaurant wasn't bad.

The manager is totally rude and a real first class JERK! Food was mediocre at best. Certainly nothing to brag about and definitely not worth the money and the service was slow!

The view from the outside seating area is beautiful!   That said, the food is standard chain restaurant food.  Nothing special, no great flavor, but not horrible either.

Great location and atmosphere! They did an awesome job at bringing the views and beach with tons of outdoor seating however it's not a full menu on the patio and think it's pricey for what you get.

Bahama Breeze is like a quick vacation to the islands without ever leaving the Tampa Bay area. Bahama Breeze (or BB for short) is part of the Darden Restaurant family of restaurants, along with Olive Garden, Red Lobster, and Longhorn Steakhouse. You'll find this Bahama Breeze just off the Courtney Campbell Causeway, on the north side of Rocky Point at the very top-end of Tampa Bay. The restaurant and outside bar overlook the water, and it's a peaceful place to kick back and enjoy a few drinks, Caribbean-style food, and island-themed music.

BB feeds your island spirit from the moment you walk up the wooden walkway to the over-sized tiki hut. You can either choose to sit outside at the bar or under the thatched roof and listen to the live music, or walk through the front doors for a sit-down meal. Indoors is decorated with bright island colors, tropical plants and big ceiling paddle fans.

The menu is comprised of Caribbean-flavored food. You'll find the traditional spicy jerk seasoning, but the heat has been toned down a few notches. They offer coconut shrimp, conch fritters, ribs with guava BBQ sauce, empanadas, tostones, rice bowls, entrée salads, soups and chowders. For dinner they also have Calypso shrimp linguine, jerk chicken pasta, seafood paella, and a variety of daily fresh fish specials.

We were there to relax and waste away the afternoon, so we sat outside on the patio watching the water, and the cars crossing the causeway while enjoying freshly-muddled mojitos and an order of Firecracker Shrimp which was buttermilk battered shrimp which were crispy fried and served with a spicy red pepper sauce.

One of their regular musicians was performing a nice mix of Jimmy Buffet and island-styled music, so it was the perfect way to relax and watch the boats and the jet skiers.

A word of warning......Bahama Breeze gets crazy busy in the late afternoons and weekend evenings, so either get here early or make sure that you have a reservation.

On my many visits to Bahama Breeze I have never been disappointed. The service is always great and the food is delicious no matter what I have tried. This time I came for lunch and had the Key West fish tacos with the fruit salad as a side.  They were SO good!  The sauce that came with it was an ancho-chili sour cream and I loved it.  The fruit salad was really good too it was mostly grapes, pineapple and strawberries topped with a mango sorbet, especially refreshing since we were sitting outside! Although a franchise, Bahama Breeze never disappoints and always puts you in a good mood with their laid back island vibe.

I love the location of this restaurant, it's right on the bay so you have a nice view if you want to sit outside. The food here is good, but it's a chain. I can have much better seafood at a better price elsewhere; as a native floridian I know of all the best seafood dives. But, overall I do like it. One of my favorite dishes is their Jerk Shrimp. It's an appetizer, and WOW, it has a bit of a kick but it's so good. I order it every time I go. I always recommend this place to people who are not from around here because the sunsets are gorgeous!

They server food later than almost every other place, during the week.  That is a big one for me since I tend to get the urge to eat later in the evenings and don't want fast food.  Their salads are excellent and I love their spinach dip.  The atmosphere is actually really good and the music select (inside) is spot on.  Their weak point, in my opinion, is the person hiring their live acts.  This place has the setting and the room to accommodate a really good act, not a huge act but at least someone who can sing and do more than follow along to an iPad.  If they brought in better live acts I would be willing to wager their bar staff would notice an immediate increase in 1. drinks being served and 2. people would stay longer.

We stayed next door to this Bahama Breeze.

Typically we like Bahama Breeze, as the we always have a good experience at the one on I-drive in Orlando.

But, this one is definitely not up to that level. In fact it was awful.

We went at lunch, were seated fairly quickly. But that's about the best of it.

Service was not good at all. Very inattentive, and delivered with a little bit of an attitude.

But when you combine bad service with bad food you get a bad experience. This location gets trapped business from the surrounding hotels. We ordered a broad variety of food, appetizers and meals. The chicken tortilla soup was down right nasty. The other food was just average to below average. High prices for below average food.

Needless to say we won't be back. There is not much to eat in this Rocky Point area, so you're very limited if you have a hungry crew. Which I guess is why they don't feel the need to keep the higher standards their Orlando I-drive location does where competition is much higher.

To bad. We won't be back. We do not recommend.

Came in to snack on appetizers and grab a drink. Had an LIT, which was a little too sweet and seemed to lack the proper amount of alcohol. The 4-stars are mainly a result of the food. Had the coconut shrimp, fried conch fritters and beef empanadas. All were very good. Especially, the fritters. Only thing I'd change is maybe a different dipping sauce for the fritters...it was the same as the shrimp sauce, would've liked to have seen something with a little spice instead. But overall the food is good.

The kids enjoyed the fish tacos and I enjoyed seafood dinner. We were able to enjoy the sunshine state's weather -- by sitting on the patio.

The minus 2 stars were based upon the waiter who was assigned to us - he was M.I.A. (missing in action) majority of the time until it was time for us to pay. We had to flag down other wait staff to provide us service such as condiments, napkins, refills on the beverages, and the check.

The tip reflected the service received (or the lack thereof) from that waiter... "pay attention to your customer's and don't forget you are receiving a gratuity based upon your service not the yummy food".

PS: Call ahead to see if they are busy - specifically on the weekends.

Stopped off to grab a late lunch yesterday with my GF......sorry I did so.
I used to frequent this place on a regular basis when I lived closer and have always found the food and service to be very good, I don't know what's happened in the past two years since I last ate here, but both quality and service has gone south.

To start with, we decided to sit at the bar figuring that it would be quicker and being that it was 2pm the bar was not crowded. It took the lone bartender a good 5 plus minutes to notice us cuz be was talking to a couple on the other side of the bar, but once he did acknowledge us I must say he was quick with our beers and water order plus menus. Of course it took another 10 plus minutes to come back and take our food order which was the Yucca fries for appetizer, the key west fish tacos for my GF and I ordered the chipotle beef rice bowl. Well 20 plus minutes go by and we have yet to see our appetizer, but shortly after our main orders come out minus the yucca fries, our waiter/bartender looks perplexed and apologizes and reorders them for us while we eat our lunches.....no problem we say to him. But wait! We have a problem, the key west mahi tacos the GF ordered are not good......meaning the fish is bad.....yup, bad! She asked me to taste the fish and being that I grew up knowing my fish, I could immediately smell the the fish was not fresh and I told her I wouldn't eat it, so we flag our bartender over and he thinking she might be full asked her if she wanted a to go box, we proceed to tell him no thanks and that we suggest he smells it, of course he agreed with us and called over the manager who tells us they usually use tilapia for the fish tacos but wanted to try Mahi instead, I explained to him that no matter what you use, if it's not fresh it's going to come back and bite you in the butt, cuz customers like me will complain and never come back.

In the end, the yucca fries did make it out and were very good, the beer was nice and cold and they did comp most of our food and drinks....thank you Eric for doing the right thing for us.....we might come back again.

Bahama Breeze is one of my favorite chains and this particular Bahama Breeze has a GREAT location, right on the water!! Great for a nice sunset dinner! The only downside is that when it's nice out, there can be some very long waits. I came here on a late Sunday afternoon one time and the wait time was over 1 hour!!! But if you can, try to eat out on the outdoor deck -- it's gorgeous!

Really awesome seafood -- I LOVE their coconut shrimp! Also their blue crab claws appetizer is to die for... I can't get enough of the butter sauce that it comes with. Make sure you get lots of bread so that even after all the crab claws are gone, you can still enjoy the sauce with some bread!

Good fruity, beachy cocktails as well! Lots of choices of sweet, girly, frozen drinks. Can't really go wrong with any of them! :)

Another good meal, service was great. In fact the bar finally got our rum drink right, WOOHOO! The crab stack was tasty as usual, with fresh crab, shrimp apple pieces and spicy sauce. The paella was also quite tasty as were my darling wife's mahi tacos.

Very good overall experience, a perfect precursor to seeing Yes at Ruth Eckerd Hall.

Pretty cool place for a chain. Middle of nowhere but great for our hotel stay next door. The place was packed on a Thursday night, but a great outdoor bar to wait at and have some drinks while we waited for our table. If I'm in the area again I'd definitely go back.

When I think of Bahama Breeze, I think of a chincy wannabe Red Lobster with a more Carribbean vibe & a dude in a Hawaiian shirt impersonating Buffet.

And that isn't too far off. But, I've got to say, my visit to BB last week was a lot better than expected. They quoted us a 45 minute wait, but the pager buzzed after 20. It was moot since we'd already found a spot to sit at the bar & eat.

The jerk wings were a must order. Huge flavorful wings. I ordered the steak salad & thoroughly enjoyed it. Not sure if this place was really that impressive or if my expectations were just that low, but I'll happily return.

Yeah I just love eating on the water, watching boats go by as I sip on my fruity drink. The food I have to say is good but pricey but with a coupon hey go nuts! First time I ate here I had the Jamaican chicken wings and they were awesome. The second time I had the beefy pasta with cream sauce, oh yeah it was delicious! Good service, always a great time, come here sit back and delight your tastebuds at Bahama Breeze! haha sorry just couldn"t resist!!

This is the first Bahama Breeze I went to and the best. We love the food, and it is a really fun place to come for drinks also. If you want to mingle with a lively group of people, this is a great place to do so. Parking can be an issue if you arrive at a crowded time.

I've never had a bad time here. I love the music outside, combine that with the breeze and colorful menu choices and you've got yourself a good time. Being a local we decided to go at 6 on a friday night, we were just in time. Happy hour is a favorite among the locals here, can't blame them but it does get a little cramped early.

We had the conch fritter and hummus to start with, both were good, not great but good. The cinch fritters were lacking their "conch" but were a great mix of flavors. Unfortunately the evening we were there was the 48 Hour water ban for hillsborough and we were forced to consume adult beverages, terrible I know, but we managed! Our waiter was very attentive and made sure that we were well taken care of. Our dinners were all good, again not great but priced fair for the quality. I had the shrimp creole bowl and there was more than enough shrimp for dinner and lunch the following day. My friends had the tuna salad, fish tacos and something else that was forgettable. We all left fat and happy! I will always continue to visit.

Went late last night at 10:30 pm for dinner. When we got there there was still a wait roughly 10 minutes. This restaurant is huge with inside and outside seating areas. The place was busy and after we got seated we were greeted by our server Brooklyn. She told us that the Tampa area water system had been contaminated and there was no soda, tea or water only bottled water for $2.99. We had already heard about this from the Hotel. So we ordered a Bahamarita and a Aruba Amber Beer. Both were very tasty. We ordered the following food items:

Conch Fritters                   3 stars very little conch not fritters like fried breaded seafood
                                                             balls
Crab appetizer                  0 stars it never came!

Ahi Tuna Salad                 3 stars the salad was nicely dressed with edameme
beans but the tuna as sparse.

The service was terrible after finishing our meal we asked Brooklyn about our Crab appetizer she first denied that we had ordered it, then apologized that she did not put it in. The food was meh, the drinks are great, the service we got last night was bad.

We had a nice dinner here.

Started with a couple lemon ginger mojitos, they were really good.Started off a bit sweet but when brought to the tenders attention they were made much better after that.

For food we had the beef empanadas and the goat cheese to start. The empenadas were good, ntothing special, but good. The goat cheese was absolutely delicous.

We then moved on to the jerk shrimp and the habanero wings. They were both really good. The jerk spice was nice and flavorful without being overbearing or too hot. The wings were nicely flavored with just a touch of heat.

As others have stated it gets very crowded here. When we came a cold front had come through so the patio was empty and inside was packed. We did experience a lag or two in service but nothing to really complain about as we were not in a huge hurry.

    We'd come back

Of course being able to sit outdoors in January in the evening, in a sleeveless top would certainly make a favorable impression anyway but it was a combination of listening to live music, being able to carry on a conversation even when the music was playing and enjoying a relaxed time was made even more relaxing by the friendly staff who did not seem to mind the long gaps between our food and drink orders that really made this a pleasant stop.

I have yet to drop by when it isn't buzzing but that is part of the charm. Its setting boasts a water view but it is not waterfront. Still it can do the job when all you want to do at the end of the day is sip something, enjoy a bite and watch the sunset. The Jamaican wings I tried were plump and nicely seasoned and the coconut shrimp I thought might be too sweet were delightfully lightly seasoned.

For an al fresco dining spot that is lively and lovely, Bahama Breeze is a great choice.

So I spent Christmas with my family on the  road to Tampa.  We stayed in holiday inn express just within a minute walking distance from Bahamas breeze.  I wasn't very impressed with it in the day time. It loooked like a small shady hut so we decided to starve our first day in Tampa ( actually we had bamboo express which was surprisingly good). Well our second night we decided to give this baby a try and I must say looks aren't everything.

The food could seem abit pricey but the portion seemed to make up for it. Most of my family went for the lighter portion and evn then the portion was still pretty generous. My brother loved the baby back ribs. I didn't try it but I does seem very juicy. My sister in law adored her linguine, which I did have a taste and can attest to that, while my other sis had the Paella. I had pasta and I liked it.

The noise level is rowdy but the food made up for it. I had a frozen alcoholic drink and it was blissful. The rather long wait was forgotten. Yes we did have to wait for around 15 mins. It was crowded and the line seemed never ending.

The next day we tried out AQUA which is like five mins walking distance from our hotel but we decided to drive anyways. It was freaking cold Ok not cuz we lazy. :p anyways I knew it was rather fancy from the reviews but ughh bad choice. It's a diner within a fancy hotel and there was a warning sign on the door that said proper attire. I was in jeans but ventured on anyways.

Good thing nothing was mentioned on that. The menu was limited. Extremely so. I suppose aqua would be seafood only and great I'm not a big fan of seafood. But my brother is and after much contemplation on the overpriced menu went on and ordered a boat of seafood things I cannot even name. He and my two sisters enjoyed it. The said it was fresh. But the portion was so small and we were craving more. I had Mac n cheese and that was so salty. It seemed like everything besides the raw or barely cooked seafood was over seasoned. Yuck.

So we went back to Bahamas breeze after paying the ridiculous amount at aqua with barely satisfied stomach. This time we ordered all apetitizers only. The quesadilla was good but omg I repeat if there is anything you must try at Bahamas breeze its the coconut shrimp. Freaking delicious. I'm drooling just thinking about it.

I had a frozen strawberry daiquiri with Bacardi superior..so good. We ordered desert and it looks like shit compare to the picture. It's a funnel cake surrounding a pineapple with mango n strawberry in the side. They ran out of mangos. I knew something was off and told my waiter. Bad waiter also forgot my sister's order of edamame. He later told us he didn't put the desert on the check which was fair.

Overall I loved the food! The second visit wasn't as pleasant as the first but I still enjoyed it. 4/5.

Pleasant Florida waterfront setting , but always crowded, always loud  and food choices not unsimilar to Applebee's. The difference is the setting.

Atmosphere       80  Shoud be higher but too nosiey and busy most of the time
Service                75  Well meaninbg but the busy setting detracts
Food                    70  Have a beer or whatever before eating
Value                   75  It is all about the setting

If you are Florida vacationer don't miss it (if you are in thearea) you will ike it.
Otherwise save your money and eat right!

I can pretty much see Bahama Breeze from my window. Therefore it makes it a convenient dinner location.

Service is pretty good, food is good.  But it's almost always crowded. On a Friday or Saturday there's usually at least an hour and a half wait.  Even at 9pm.

Sometimes you can get around this by stalking the bar area and/or outside patio area- but, they do serve a limited menu out there.I personally prefer their appetizers over any of the entrees anyway.

What makes Bahama Breeze great is the view.  Situated right on the bay at Rocky Point, it's a great place to enjoy being on the water while staying close to town.

I've eaten here several times, never on my own accord though.  It's usually like, "Hey a bunch of us are meeting up at BB after work.. Wanna go?" Also, chain Caribbean food just isn't my thing considering that we live in a virtual mecca of Caribbean food joints.  But with that being said, I can say that I've never had a bad experience in regards to food or service here.  On my most recent visit, the staff very politely accommodated my request to have our party of 13 moved from indoors to out.  This is no minor logistical feat on a busy Friday night, so for their effort, I was thankful.

Food favorites of mine are their black bean soup, which comes with a scoop of yellow rice in the middle, and the roasted Cuban bread.  It's not quite authentic Cuban bread, but it is fresh baked and tastes damn good.

I've only been once, but the food I experience was pretty good. The salmon pasta and coconut shrimp were so YUM. I would be giving this rating 4 stars if it wasn't for the lousy service. Our waitress had a "mean girl" attitude, like we were bugging her. I don't think it would have hurt her to try smiling. But who knows, perhaps she was having a bad day.

My food came on time and came hot, but I can't say the same for my friends' meals. They were pretty lukewarm and one was incorrect the way it came prepared -- and they were two of the most expensive things on the specials menu. Worse yet was when they brought it up to the waitress that they were dissatisfied, instead of a "No problem, we'll fix that right away" they received a list of excuses and defensive behavior. The place didn't receive any winning points for that behavior. Then their correct meals proceeded to come out ten minutes apart. So between the three of us, we each started and finished our meals at different times.

As for the atmosphere, I didn't realize going in it would be so incredibly loud. We had a screaming baby to our left and the room was just so big and cavernous that voices carried and echoed. I may be willing to give this restaurant a second shot to impress me, but I'm not going in very confident. Perhaps other locations would have rated better.

Let me start by saying that even though they deserve the three stars I gave them, I will still keep going back to Bahama Breeze.  It's a fantastic location and perfect for drinks on the outside deck.  The problem is that it is always so crowded.  You need to get there early or after the dinner rush for a spot and the wait to sit down inside is usually pretty long.

The food is average.  I've tried many things on the menu and the one thing that stands out is the coconut shrimp.  Wow, they are delicious.  Really...yummm.  Everything else I have tried is average chain restaurant food.

The drinks are quite delicious though.  If you are in the mood for a frozen or fruity drink, this is your spot.  I love the ultimate margarita and the skinny mojito.

Service...meh.  I've had a couple good experiences with servers, but I feel like most of them are unfriendly.  My food came out wrong once so I sent it back and the server actually argued with me.  I was a server once too and when someone complained I NEVER argued, even if I knew they were wrong.  You just don't do it.

Even with all the negatives, I'm still going to go back and enjoy the beautiful view with a delicious drink.  It's worth a try, just don't expect too much.

Bahama Breeze, you've let me down.

First, let me begin with the standard welcome you receive. Hostess: "How are you doing this evening?" Me "Great, how about you?" Hostess "Ugh, actually I'm really tired."

Well, that about sums up my experience that evening. The short version:

After the Hostess set the stage, the server matched her tone. 30 minutes later, our food order was eventually put in. My friend and I ordered the special of the evening, the grouper. Both dishes came out cold. To top it off, my friend ordered "Almond Crusted" and the almonds came on the side? Instead of apologizing, the server came up with list of excuses such as "we've never done that; it depends on the chef." While she did replace our dishes, she replaced the same entree, each one in 10 minute increments. That way, each person at the table was finished their meal before the next one got theirs.

We ordered appetizers, drinks, entrees and dessert. The most impressive? The drinks. They were strong, delicious, and the bartender was quick to make them.

This isn't a one time experience at Bahama Breeze. I've been on multiple occasions where the servers have completely forgotten orders, messed up edits, and so on. I use to be a fan of Bahama Breeze, but the one at Rocky Point has some restaffing to do.

I give Bahama Breeze 5 stars because IMHO, it rates at the top for chain restaurants.

We went there tonight for drinks and appetizers out on the patio. We had received a $10 off coupon in the mail, so it was a perfect reason to go.

BB does lack in te fact they do not offer any drink specials....boo.  A 20 oz draft of blue moon will run you almost $7.

But put the overly priced beer aside, and BB is fantastic. The food is good, with a little spice to it. Not too much, just enough to give it a kick.

We ordered the tostones-think nachos made from plantains. Yum!  We also got the spicy shrimp. Think shrimp scampi served with Cuban bread to dip in.  And our last app was the chicken quesadilla.

All the dishes were incredibly food and filling. We enjoyed them all and def would be back.

If you have out of town guests and don't want to drive all the way to the beach, this is a wonderful option.

Why 4 stars? Because Bahama Breeze - who knew??

      ---   ---   ---

I sampled all kinds of goodies at Bahama Breeze during an event I attended there recently (thanks Carlos!)

So it wasn't a typical experience with random food samplings and a specific drink menu, but here's what I learned:

    The drinks? They're good.

    The food? It's good.

    The atmosphere? It's awesome!

Not that I'm accusing Bahama Breeze of this, but I think when you have an outdoor deck on the water, the food can taste pretty unspectacular and you can still enjoy the hell out of your time. With quality wine and dine, Bahama Breeze is all-set.

I had drafted this review and then saw a new review by my Yelp-mentor Anthony who was very right about not posting 3 stars, but I am torn about it - I can't give it 2 stars, because the drinks people were guzzling looked AWESOME.   So, sticking to the three...

Stuck in a tropical storm in Tampa this spot was in walking (wind blown) distance. Since I had so much work to do in my room I figured I'd run over grab something to go and eat in my room. So that was good. The girl was lovely, filled my order and it was ready to roll pretty quickly. While waiting I checked out some Yelpers reviews and saw one who wrote the paella was dry and bland. Oops, the server was already standing there with my bag ready to roll...

The crab stack with shrimp: DEFINITELY Not smart to place a chilled dish on top of a steamy container of paella! Shame cuz the lump of crab was yummy and though it was sharp on the cilantro and lemon, the warm shrimp on the bottom... Killed it. But still love this dish, way too over spiced from here. Hello Kaya this is not fine dining honey!!!

Ughhh so sorry. Was hoping to give this one the save. But the paella was so dry! Salami bits, called sausage? Nahhh. So dry!!!

Yikes.  I guess in places like this only the deep fried comfort food is yummy. I get it.

Wow it has been 6 years since I last reviewed Bahama Breeze. It is fair to say that my review is dated. I have plenty of good experiences at Bahama Breeze over the last few years. It is a little far from home, but I do enjoy the outdoor waterfront view you get  at this location.

I agree with other Yelpers - Bahama Breeze gets slammed...it doesn't even matter what day it is. I always see a crowd there so make sure to coordinate accordingly and prepare for a wait.

The seafood choices are good, but what I really like about Bahama Breeze is their appetizers and drinks. At a tasting earlier this year, I fell in love with their sliders which were packed with flavor and come with caramelized onions, mustard aioli, and dill pickles on a toasted brioche bun. I previously thought  the sliders at the Cheesecake Factory were pretty good, but not after trying the Bahama Breeze sliders.

I am not a huge fan of their coconut shrimp, but did enjoy their Jamaican grilled wings last time. They packed a punch. One new thing that makes me appreciate Bahama Breeze now is that I am of legal drinking age now and Bahama Breezes makes some tasty concoctions.

Their Ultimate Pina Colada which comes with swirled strawberry ice is one of the best Pina Coladas I have ever had and they will get you sloshed lol. The Tropical Storm is also a tasty drink. Bahama Breeze certainly has plenty of so called "chick drinks" available and tomorrow I will be visiting for another tasting and am looking forward to their new cocktail list. Will report back when I taste them.

There's a new location coming to the Brandon Mall which is pretty cool because it will be closer, but I don't know if it will be the same without the waterfront view and loud reggae music. :)

This place is ALWAYS packed. It does have a great atmosphere, but the food & service aren't worth the wait. Try to find a table out on the deck or near the bar where it's seat yourself.

It IS great for drinks and sitting on the deck. It seems like there are far too few literally on the water restaurants in Tampa, and this is one of them.

I do come here fairly regularly. It tends to be one of those places I usually end up at with a big group, which may contribute to the service being "meh" . There are also usually many tourists since it is close to so many hotels.

Be aware that although Bahama Breeze is on the water, you can't see the sunset from here. If you're hoping to catch the sunset, head over to Whiskey Joe's around the corner.

I typically don't review this kind of place.  It's a chain and you get what is expected.  I haven't met a Bahama Breeze that I liked.  However, this one has a great outside deck and a decent view, so to make up for the lousy food at least you can grab a drink here with a view.

4 star deck.  Food?  No comment.
