Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar

Review for Happy Hour in the bar.

Met a friend here on a Monday night for happy hour. The bartenders were very friendly and helped us choose drinks and brought us yummy fresh potato chips to enjoy. The wine list was on tablets/iPads that were sitting on the bar but I decided to go with something different. I started one of their low-calorie cocktails, Shades of Rose',  with sparkling wine and elderflower liquor. Yum-City and only 99 calories.

After drinking and snacking on chips we moved on to the special happy hour menu. This menu has deals only available during happy hour in the bar area. There are many good selections including shrimp, calamari, pork belly, etc. We settled on the Baked Brie ($6) and BBQ shrimp ($6) from the special menu. There is also a burger (also $6) on the menu that everyone around us seemed to order and it looked amazing. We later added a Filet Mignon Flatbread (regular price). I was very impressed with our food selections. They were not skimpy on size or flavor. I think the flatbread may have been my favorite with chunks of filet, blue and monterey jack cheeses, and sautéed onions. All the food items we ordered up to this point are only available in the bar.

For dessert we shared a Chocolate Lava Cake. The bartender was key in getting this to us since it takes a while. She noted when we were getting close to being done with our food and took care of ordering up our lava cake. Win. How can you really go wrong with lava cake and ice cream? Fleming's certainly doesn't. It was delish.

The atmosphere was very nice and welcoming. Groups and singles sitting up at the bar. It was not stuffy or pretentious.

I look forward to going back for another fun and well priced happy hour!

My family ate here after going to Yankees Spring Training game for dinner. We ate in the bar area and it is huge! We frequent our local Fleming's in Ca that have small bar seating. Our food, service and drinks were excellent! Just what you expect it to be! My husband met Buster Olney here and so our night was definitely a great one!

classy steakhouse, great service, good food and a great value happy hour.  Nice happy hour crowd...
