The happy hour was well priced, but it was hard to get service. Didn't try the food based on reviews.

Karaoke was pretty bad and the DJ only played older music & country.  Definitely doesn't cater to the younger crowd i.e. 30 something.

My girlfriends and I visited Bailey's over the weekend and had a not so pleasant experience. This is NOT the first time we've been there and had the same issue.

There were several of us in our party. We came there because of the karaoke. However, the girl that runs the karaoke business is so extremely rude and unaccommodating, it is pathetic.  She accommodates HER friends that come in, but is not pleasant to anyone she is not familiar with.

One girlfriend put in a song, then another put in a song... she finally got to do the first one(1  1/2 hour later) but the second never got to sing hers. I didn't giver her a song because I was pretty sure of what was going to happen and needed to remain calm about the situation.. The DJ was just taking the pieces of paper and tossing the ones "she didn't want to play" into a jar. Lots of people (and I'm not kidding) came in long after us and got to sing several times. The DJ also said to one of us, (in a Queen Bee kinda of voice), when a slip with a preferred song was taken up to her "you're blocking the screen" and then told another friend to "get off my stage".

Is this the type of business you want run in your hotel lounge? I would like to suggest that you show her this message, and have a chat with her, on how to run a karaoke business that promotes business rather than send away business. It was extremely rude.  We were there to spend money and have a good time.  Unfortunately, once again, after 5 years of visiting this place, it was the same situation.

It had been well over a year since all of us had come there for karaoke. We had hopes that it wasn't the same poor excuse of a "karaoke bar" as we had experienced in the past. We did try to make the best of it, but we were treated as though our money was no good. I am very disappointed in the service. It makes the whole hotel look bad. By the way, the bartender working that night said she has gotten several complaints about this woman and the way she runs karaoke.
Bailey's Lounge lost a good amount of money that would have been spent there.

We also will not stay at the hotel again due to this reason. Luckily we stayed at hotel down the street, this last weekend, where we were treated like royalty. There were 7 women in our group, total, and we all had separate rooms. That's a good chunk of change for a hotel, restaurant and lounge.

It's very disappointing that we have to feel like we have to argue with a less than mediocre karaoke business DJ in order to have some fun. Truly a joke.  Bye bye Bailey's, and Grand Vista Hotel.

I stay at the Grand Vista pretty regularly, so I should have known better. However, thirsty and looking to watch the Thursday night football game (which wasn't on because they dont have the NFL Network), I wandered into Bailey's and and sided up to the bar.

I have no tolerance for dirty beer lines. None. Restaurants need to maintain their tap lines. I had a gross Coors Light while listening to terrible karaoke. Pretty horrible night.

The food here is also wildly overprices, even by hotel standards. They guy next to me at the bar was served chicken that was cold and pink in the center. This place appears to have tons of issues. There are many other options in GJ...I would recommend you explore them.
