Was looking for a place for late night drinks near the hotel, and stumbled across this place. Thought it was a supermarket, but in fact it was a huge sports bar. Pool tables, karaoke, and lots of seating available at this huge bar. It smelled smoky as soon as we walked in, and realized it was an indoor smoking bar. Was not used to it all, so may not be friendly for non-smokers.

It was Wednesday night, and their skinny cocktail drinks were only $3! Had 2 of them and our waitress was super attentitve. Only con was that I was charged $6 for each and had to get an updated receipt once I pointed it out, but they were quick to change it.

Lively vibe here though, and the drink prices could not be beat.

I would give this place 3 1/2 stars and if it was a nonsmoking bar it would be 4 stars. I love that they have a shuffleboard table though! Very few places seem to keep them around anymore. Plenty of pool tables make it a cool place to kill some time. The beer selection is ok but could be better. I haven't tried the food usually stick to a liquid diet when here! I just hate smelling like a chain smoking truck driver after I leave!

I like to watch football games at Bailey's. The food is good, the service is good, the beer is good, and I found a group of Chicago Bears fans there.

Awesome place to hang out, play pool, shuffleboard or watch a game.  Great beer selection and decent food for a bar.  You've got to try the beer battered chicken tenders!!' mmmm.  Managers are always so cool and accommodating. If you like to relax and have a good time you've got to check it out!

You might consider me to be a "regular" as I am a league pool player, and every one seems to know me by name. The management and staff are generally great, but anyone can have an "off" day or experience every now & again, overall they are super! It is a fun atmosphere & with the exception of the smoke (I am a non-smoker), there's lot's of fun for everyone with stuff going on like Shuffleboard, Poker, Darts & of course Pool! The food is very good for "bar food" and they have a free "All Star Club" that has 1/2 price wings, Beer specials and organized socials for members,  just ask to join when you're there. They have hosted many parties there for me as well, which is an exceptional package, again ask the host. The only reason I can't give a 5 star rating is because the smoke filtration system doesn't seem to do much, if they didn't permit smoking at all, I'm sure there would be plenty 5 star revues. Bailey's ROCKs!!!

It is a nice place to go if you like pool and darts. If you like Football, DO NOT go if the Steelers are playing that day. Why? Because of an obnoxious group called "Steeler Nation". They have a very loud bald guy that wants to be Jessie Ventura because he is loud and doesnt care about the other people in the bar. He will yell out and say bad things about the other teams if you are watching. Other Steeler fans there were quiet and waited patiently for their game to start. Loud mouth bald guy made the entire time miserable.

good food and there is sections on sundays for diff football teams, so its a great place to watch steelers games, beer is a bit pricey but the large tv's seem to make it worth it, i wouldnt pay that much for beer without a game

i'm torn between 2 and 3 because the service was pretty half-assed and their beer prices for sunday football were what i'd expect anywhere at any other time. maybe i am becoming an old man with the "things cost more then they used to" schtick, but $4 for a 20oz miller lite is not a big deal. so i got the $4 sam adams.  not too bad for a real beer but no bargain, either.

when we sat down it took over 10 minutes to get a waitress and over 5 minutes for our beers to arrive. that's uber lame. afterward she was much more attentive because she realized i drank fast so she chased the tip. also kinda lame. i could see the cha-ching in her eyes when i finished my first beer in about ten minutes.

huge hdtvs were everywhere and our game was easily visible from multiple screens.

what almost gives bailey's a 4 instead of a 2 is the people that go to the place, and the giant plate of nachos we ordered. they were loaded with everything and the portion was huge.

regarding the clientele, i am a saints fan and really didn't expect any others in the crowd. by the time we showed up we were well into the first quarter and there was no place to sit. i saw a conservative-looking black man wearing a saints jersey and i asked if we (my mum and i) could join him.  mind you, i look like a nazi killer biker with a shaved head and "freedom or death" tattooed on the front of my neck. he was gracious enough to allow us to sit and we all enjoyed the game. there were probably 6-8 other saints fans besides ourselves nearby so that was nice.

when i've got $50 to blow, i'll go again. otherwise, if you want food and beer with your football, someplace a bit less spendy might do you well.

Bailey's is a fun bar with great pool tables.  You must be 21 or older to enter as of October 2008, due to a recent law passing that restricts ownership to this age limitation if they allow smoking (which Bailey's certainly does, so it is a very smoky place bar).  The food is mediocre, honestly, and a bit pricey for bar fare.  I enjoy the chicken wings, even though they aren't "out of this world".  The wings have a bit of black pepper mixed into the sauce, which really defines the taste.  The beer selection is great, however, and weekly specials are pretty decent (such as $2 pints on Sunday nights and all day Tuesday).  The pool tables are plentiful and are rented out by the hour.  If you would like to shoot a few games of pool, enjoy a few cigs, and maybe even do a little flirting, Bailey's is the place to go in West Knox.  A great place to catch sports with an abundance of t.v.'s.  It's a little difficult to find good smoking bars in K Town nowadays, and Bailey's is at least as good as any.  Great for travelers since it's not just a spot for "regulars".

First--WARNING TO ALL NON-SMOKERS--be prepare to smell like you smoked a pack or two of cigarettes by the time you leave the place.  I figure they would at least have a smoking and non-smoking sections.  According to the manager--you can smoke anywhere in the bar.  The food was "okay" for bar food-- don't order the chicken tortilla soup (taste like mush), or the spicy queso chips-- buffalo wings were good.  The only reason I didn't give this a two star rating was due to our awesome waitress who was very friendly and attentive.  She even didn't even charge us for the soup I didn't like.

So to recap.. food was okay... great place to watch football on a Sunday if you are a smoker.

Great to go with friends, if you like the bar. Not good for kids at all. It is more of a bar, playing pool type of place.

Bailey's is a fun neighborhood place to hang out with friends... I love the atmosphere, the beer selection is fabulous, the staff has always been extremely friendly, I love that the managers go around and make sure everybody is happy and having a good time....  you can go shoot pool, throw darts, or just hang out and watch your favorite game on one of the many tv's. I also enjoy just sitting back listening to the music and people watching.

They always have lots of fun things going on... before you go, check out there website, they will email you coupons for free appetizers and specials
