"It's a diner for older people"
The big sell for this place seems to be that it has been around for fifty-odd years, which would explain their clientele, who have all most likely eaten there since they were 15.
The food, as noted by others, is basic diner fare, though the menu is minuscule by the standards of most diners. I got their beef liver with onions (yes, eww, I know, but I like it, normally), and the lack of a "how would you like that cooked" should have been an alarm bell. What I got had been cooked to the consistency of shoe leather, and was barely edible.
The fries and cole slaw were good, however.
My girlfriend had the turkey sandwich, which was, I quote, "the worst thing I've ever eaten".
Maybe if I was 30 years older, this place would have some appeal, but for now, I'm avoiding it like the plague.
Please note that the staff were all very friendly and accommodating, but that doesn't help the food much.
