Been there twice. Â First time the service and food was excellent. Â The second time the service was very slow for no apparent reason, the place was half empty. Â The food was awful, burnt burger, cold, soggy fries. Â A "hit or miss" kind of place. Â Beer and wine and atmosphere are nice but do you want to chance it on the food and service?
Review Source:Yo B&U. Wanted to drop by and send you some propers for hanging tough all these years on that lifeless hunk of concrete known as Wilkes-Barre. I know it was touch and go there what was it? Seven or eight years ago now? Anyway, congrats!
For the rest of you, listen to me. This place has the best carns darn chicken wings you are ever going to eat within probably a 50-mile radius of Wilkes-Barre. They're huge. Bieber huge. I am a professor of poultry in all its forms (baked, fried, Kardashian - you name it!) and I am telling you if you have never tried these wings ... well, then you probably also never had a pogo ball when you were a kid.
I'm telling you these things are good. Sweet tap-dancing Christ these things are good. And so many flavors! Mild, hot, Sweet Thai, Hawaiian, 50/50, Teriyaki, Red Garlic, Guinness BBQ, Vader, and Cajun varieties. And you know what goes well with these wings? Yuengling. And after that? You got it. MORE Yuengling. (Come on - everyone knows this).
These are award-winning wings in an area where people don't know a whole lot, but they do know Buffalo wings very well. And deep-fried Oreos. I know - I was surprised as well.
And skip the blue cheese and celery. Or, you can order it, but you won't need it. Unless the band sucks, then you can throw it at them. Otherwise, these wings are just gonna knock you on your ass.
