Decided to try Bogie's in Pearland for the first time and had such a horrible experience, we decided to just stop by Beef O Brady's on the way home instead. Â
We we instantly greeted by Ezinne which was a much needed and appreciated thing after the last place. Â She was also our waitress for the night and she was very pleasant and made sure we were well attended to and our drinks stayed full. Â
We ordered some waters and a few beers, they had a good draft selection so that was a plus. Â We went for chips and salsa, roast beef garlic sandwich, and the Cuban sandwich. Â Everything was tasty and came out within 15 minutes. Â We were chatting for a few after we paid and Ezinne stopped back by and brought us to go cups with drinks. Â
This was our 3rd or 4th visit here, and we have always enjoyed our visits, the food and the service. Â It's kind of sad that I only took the time to fully appreciate the good service and actually write a review after experiencing horrible service someplace else. Â We will definitely be back.
"Under new management," must mean smaller portions and worse food. Ordered takeout yesterday (11/11/12) and, yes, I do realize that takeout can be problematic, but I only live 2 blocks away! Arrived before the food was due out still all the meals were cold when we got them home. (I order takeout from Chili's frequently, it always arrives at our house hot after transporting it 3 or more miles.) We ordered 4 meals. The 13 year old liked her bacon burger but the 15 year old didn't finish his fish and chips. The Chicken Philly cheese steak was exceedingly small while the O'Brady burger's beef patty was about  inch thick. In fact there was more mayonnaise than beef on the burger. So much so, that it overshot the bun on all sides. The serving of French Fries was meager on all the sandwiches. In addition, they were bland. The side order of onion rings was greasy and the "spicy dipping sauce" was not spicy. The 4 meals averaged $12.50 each including a 10% tip but without a drink. I expect better from "fast food" restaurants. This was extremely disappointing.
Review Source:Went this past weekend and was in the mood for a good burger and something to really hit the hunger spot. Â Beef 'O' Bradys did it. Â The OMG Burger was fantastic and my wife thoroughly enjoyed her whitefish.
The service was attentive, friendly and helpful.
Would and will go back often. Â Great place for the price.
I remembered having a decent meal at one of these in Florida, so I thought I'd give them a shot in Pearland. Maybe my memories were faded. Maybe I made the mistake of trying to avoid fried food in a sports bar, but the food was just meh. My grilled chicken tasted fresh from the freezer and the mashed potatoes on the side tasted like Walmart brand instant flakes.
Having your own TV at the table was kind of nice, and there's a separate party room.
I should have stuck to wings and beer.
We're pretty much regulars here now (some of the waitstaff can recite our order verbatim) and almost always have a good experience whenever we come in. I didn't appear to have many complaints after our first visit when I gave them 3 stars, but after a few dozen visits with little less than great service, I feel like they're worth a fourth star.
